That was a digital picture taken with a Sony DSC-F717 camera. I ran into another visitor last year with the same camera on the way to the lower falls last year. The picture is taken from the platform on the west side by the brink of the 308 ft lower falls. The picture points north into the canyon. It was taken at 11:24 AM on 10/09/2004.

I resized the picture to load more quickly on a web browser. The original picture consumed 2.4 MB with 5 megapixel resolution. The resized dropped to 159 Kbytes.

Your camera took an outstanding picture. My Fuji 3800 blurs sometimes, but it may be operator error (pictures of grandchildren are one of life's necessities). Thanks for sharing that great photo with us!
