ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The woman said she was pulled over by a man in a dark blue Crown Victoria, equipped with a red and blue emergency light on the dashboard and a siren.
The man ordered the woman out of her car and back to his vehicle, and then sexually assaulted her.
The woman said the man was black, about 20 years old, six feet tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing dark blue pants, dark boots and a blue, uniform-style jacket that did not have a badge or insignia."
Suspicious package forces daycare evacuation (Montreal)
A daycare in the St. Michel district had to be evacuated after a strange man handed an employee a box with the word bomb on it. (snip)

The lesson here is that if you're ever approached by anybody claiming to be law enforcement, even or maybe especially if they're armed and carrying a visible badge, before complying with any instructions they may issue, politely request that a marked unit be sent to verify all identities. If the contact is legit they will NOT be offended.
