CBS Ignored Info That Docs Were Likely Inauthentic!!
Hannity Radio Show

Posted on 09/10/2004 2:23:42 PM PDT by chunkycheese

Gary Killian, son of the "author" of the CBS memos, just stated on air that when he tried to bring to CBS's attention the likelihood that the memos supposedly written by his father were dubious, they ignored his input, as well as his suggestion that they talk with some of Bush's co-pilots who would've vouched for Bush's performance as an Air Guardsman!

If they were serious about these documents, all they had to do was analyze the paper. If the documents are originals, or even copies from back them, it can be dated by the paper since paper manufacturing/processing has changed drastically since then. You can also investigate even further if these are copies. What types of copiers were standard in the military back then. Shoot, I can remember the copies in elementary school that had purplish ink that we used to smell. ;) Were there black ink copiers back then?

Well, we have photographic evidence of it going to Castro and Cuba...given the opportunity, it would be there IMHO.

Anybody out East will do!

LOL

(I don't want to watch either)

These dems make me SICK. Wolfson on CNN intoning "Son of privilege" again.

Ginsberg asked by Wolf Blitzer about the Swift Vets and he says they're independent from the B/C campaign. Wolfson says the SV are political but the questions facing the president are legitimate.

Sickening

Rather stands by the documents. Basically, I am left with the impression that he doesn't care if they are fakes, and that the only questions that should be answered are the questions raised about "Lieutenant Bush" disobeying direct orders.

It never occurs to him that questions raised by bogus documents are bogus questions.

ABC has been on it since yesterday and Nightline covered it last night.

MSNBC has been following the story, too.

CNN covering.

And so on.

Ah, good, then perhaps the network-rivalry feeding-frenzy will accidently allow the truth to surface.

Here is where MSM is failing - they've just gone through a scenario where they failed to report the truth and it came and bit them. Now people have seen their game, just a few weeks back, and will catch onto this, too.

Nightline's treatment was more like "cover-up". Since I don't watch PMSNBC or C-NoNews, I can't comment on how they're covering it.

I just watched Dan Rather's sidewalk interview and his listing off the questions Bush needs to answer. Let me tell you, that performance was right out of the Clinton playbook. Rather's going to gut it out, look into the camera, deny the evidence, deny reality, and stick to his story. He's got the DNC and all Kerry's spokesmen backing him up...their spin is exactly the same as his.

It is Friday, Ivan is about to hit Florida, I think Rather, CBS, the DNC and the Kerry campaign figure they'll get away with this. All they wanted to do was change some undecided votes, and give their base a thrill by putting Bush in the hot seat again, over his National Guard service.

Shh, we don't want to tip him off to those intrinsics:logic, reason, rationality, now do we?

not to worry, Dan just told his last lie, he's told alot and figured he could get away with one more. Now he is forced to pretend the truth is false and lies are true. He's finished and so is CBS News. Rating will be up tonight everyone will have a good time watching Dan lie, and then they (rating) will drop to zero.
