Gary Killian, son of the "author" of the CBS memos, just stated on air that when he tried to bring to CBS's attention the likelihood that the memos supposedly written by his father were dubious, they ignored his input, as well as his suggestion that they talk with some of Bush's co-pilots who would've vouched for Bush's performance as an Air Guardsman!
TRUE LIES~CBS DIES!
Major Garrett on Fox going over the content of the memos indicating forgery, such as nobody writes an order in the form of a memo. Lists several things freepers already have gone over.
Shows clips of McAuliffe and Harkin sticking by the "Bush Lied" line.
Also Fox showed Scott McClellan statements saying they don't know if the documents are authentic or not but the content does not undermine or dispute the state of the record (he is absolutely correct).
I'm normally not such a pessimist, but the once-cannibalistic (i.e., they used to eat their own) MSM are now seemingly united as the "media wing of the Democratric party".
Who forged the documents, and who gave them to who who gave them to who who gave them.......
Leni
What a B*tch. She probably "Lewinskied" her way to the top....
With all due respect - au contraire, this is him..

Fox news channel covering now - interviewing Bill Campetti who servied with Budh
Fox news channel covering now - interviewing Bill Campetti who servied with Bush
And, HOW did they get them ? Who is the source ?
The daughter of Barnes speaking on Hannity's talk-show was hesitant and torn. SHe wanted to speak her mind and truth which she did...yet you could tell that she did not want to bash her dad or had an agenda against him. To me, that adds credibility to her statement that her Dad (Barnes) had told her in 1999 that he had nothing to do with getting Dubya into the National Guard. HEY...isn't the old conniving wealthy COOT on the Simpsons also a 'Barnes'. little irony ay?
There are two polls on the subject on CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/
Should Dan Rather and CBS News reveal the sources of the Bush memos?
Yes 35% 282 votes
No 65% 519 votes
Total: 801 votes
AND
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/
Do you think the recently released memos on President Bush's National Guard service are authentic?
Yes 52% 65829 votes
No 48% 61920 votes
Total: 127749 votes
If you are so inclined, CNN needs a little FR power!
Communist
Bastard
Sons-of-Bs
I knew I had heard that name before....seems she's got a long history with Dan Rather.
He even stated that he asked if they spoke to certain people who served with Bush and the answer back was they were "pro-Bush" so could not use them for their 60 Minutes report!!!!
Col William Campenni who served with Bush just confirmed that Staudt was retired at the time of the memo - so there would be no reason to "sugar coat". Also talked about Sen. Harkin's claim the Bush didn't take a physical to avoid a drug test - which they wouldn't do at the time.
Come on everyone, let's Freep these polls on CNN's website!
Yes I too am usually optimistic, -- in fact right now I'm flat out EXCITED about what appears to be developing here! But I'm also cautious -- remembering the frustration of scandal after scandal under Clinton where truth after truth emerged from the conservative media but then just got buried and/or forgotten.
...MSM are now seemingly united as the "media wing of the Democratric party"
This is what we need to unveil to America at large. But how?
Memo to CBS................
"It is easier to get into something than to get out of it."
Author: Donald Rumsfeld
I was listening to Hannity in the car when this was on. As much as I like to think nothing surprises me anymore, my jaw was hanging open.
Even under the virtually blank check given the media under NY Times v Sullivan, this could be libel/slander. I know they'll never be a libel suit but 'malice' under Time v Sullivan is the big hurdle. And 'malice' under that case doesn't mean evil intent. Essentially you have to prove that the utterer knew the defamatory statements were untrue when they made them.
This could just meet that test.
