Then all doubt's should be cleared as of today. FR has done what no free political internet website has ever done before. We have not only broken out into the MSM being credited with finding the fraud in CBS' story on Bush.
But we have our own deep throat's here who blew the whistle in blazing clear daylight.
Typegate is going to sink the Kerry polls 5-10% once people see what his campaign has stooped to. This story is not going away and we will make sure of that.
The DU is biting fingernails left and right knowing they just got busted big time and that they are not as teflon as they thought they once were.
The Clinton years are over....new ballgame in town.
Get used to it.
FR will continue to grow and expand and we will eventually have so much credibility that the media will have no other choice but to report what we are on a daily basis.
Congrats to our folks behind this great discovery.
Were it only so!
Kerry is a Kennedy crony back to the days on the yacht with Bobby, Teddy, and Jack. His team has consisted of Kennedy staffers and associated types until now.
Now, with the DNC faced with an allready unelectable candidate, the Clinton Gang has moved in and forged documents surface. Damage control will be quasi effective, just enough to make it look good, but the blame will fall on Kerry and his people, many of whom are usually on the Kennedy payroll. Bush hate will deflect the rest of the Dems from noticing the hijacking of their party, and they may even welcome it.
When the dust settles, the Clinton Gang will be back on top of the DNC, FBI files in hand, ready to press the issue as they please, with Shrillery in perfect position to make the run in '08.
Dan Rather is just collateral damage.
I'm going to take this a step further and say that we would not be seeing the same momentum this story has right now had it come from a traditional news source or special interest group. How can you possibly suspect the motive of a story when it's birth is well documented here and all over the internet?
Allow me to borrow a popular line: "With great power comes great responsiblity." I think we have just witnessed the dawning of a new era in news reporting and journalism. We have a great tool in our collective posession; everyone, keep purity in your motives, and I believe we will see more great things coming from this wonderful group.
Welcome to Free Republic. Enjoy your stay!
I am also fairly new...I found you when I was searching for the great post with the song "my heros have always been cowboys" that shows W. But because of the writer of the song I guess it was pulled. The treasure I have found is invaluble to me, I love being in the loop and it is easy to do here. Thanx to all you Posting Freepers!!!!
I've been known to 'misremember'. You're probably right!
Main Stream Media. People like Dan Blather.
Yeah, she's been VERY quiet. Here in CNY, we are angry over the closing of Oneida Ltd, the long-running silversmiths. Guess she and Shumer didn't do what they could to keep it open, hmmm? Shows you how much they love NY. NOT!!!
Yes, I believe that was 'dead'.
No, it wasnt me. Ive sometimes been the first person to point it out on a Dougie Thompson thread, but I am relying on the research of others.
I'm kind of proud of the whole FR today.
The Atlanta Journal/Constipation
had an article today about the Bush "Guard Memos" and
NO WHERE in it was any mention that the documents might
be tainted.
Pathetic, old media, if they are lying now, how long
HAVE they been lying?
How about WordGate?
yes, check this thread (there is a timeline on the "new media" farther down in the posts): http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1212057/posts
Spock is a loony liberal! Too bad. I loved his ears.
"Rather lied, Kerry died.
Oinkedy oink oink!!!
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!
Funniest thing I saw all day
