Wondering what font they were written in the same font as these memos?
Excellent thinking!
Check the one that was signed by Lehman
nick
this could get interesting...
Yeah so the obvious question is... was it the same person. Doing the same thing, in just a very poor way.... We will have a devastating bit of evidence.
That might explain the mystery "V" on his Silver Star award.
Does anyone remember which 'kerry, freeper, poster' had that graphic/scan of the citation documents?
The link back to Kerry would be virtually ironclad. Gotta admit, though, those superscripts look awfully nice. Vanity will get you, sooner or later, every time.
Certainly my thinking.
What a great thought. Buckhead seemed to know a lot about this. I'll ping him to the thread.
How about checking the font used on the DD214 Kerry has posted on his Web site - presumedly as a fill-in on a PDF form scanned into the computer. That might explain the "V" on the Silver Star medal.
Forgeries are getting harder and harder to put into effect, especially now that so many people are attuned to looking for them.
The second Silver Star citation looks to have been engraved or typeset; the Lehman one was produced on a word processor. I see nothing particularly anachronistic about the formatting of either, though it would be interesting to see other Silver Star citations from that period.
