If all the tea leaves look like President Bush will win easily..my only worry is that four years from now that the corrupt senator from ny (hillary..not schumer) will easily win the dem nomination..what do the GOP have on their bench??..some would say that Jeb is next..but they may be tired of another bush..(even though I like Jeb)..Cheney has said he will not run..If I had my choice for 08..it would Rice..she is smart..fast on her feet..and could run circles around hillary..

Exactly what you said. But it is sad that they seem to be lining up to throw thier credibility out for him anyway. Incomprehensible to me. But they are probably used to playing in the old world, before everything was given such scrutiny, and information can be passed among like minded people at such speed. These are truly interesting times we live in.

He probably wandered into another state of mind.

Richardson probably had to change his schedule. He is obviously a busy man. Look at when he was a cabinet officer for Billy Jeff, his duties included personally going to offer a job to an intern (Monica). The guy just micromanages too much and doesn't have enough hours in the day to get it all in.

Tell That to Neil Cavoto and his FOX NEWS ALERT every time his show starts. I swear he would use that when a cat was stuck in a tree.

Richardson suggested Sandy Berger as a sub.

Supposedly, and oppo researcher had 'come across' them.

That would have made them even harder to read.

You got to be kidding right? Governor of a state, and you don't think they ever have things that take precidence over interviews? I suppoes if Trump passed on an interview you'd assume he's dodging the topic too? Be serious. If Jeb backed out of an interview would you automatically assume he was dodging a topic?

These people do have JOB's and jobs that are 24/7, and are for all the bashing we do on politicians a Governorship is a pretty damn demanding position.

I'm not saying he could be avoiding it, but to instantly assume he is without any evidence is a bit over the top.

It would have to be something very important to pass up national TV time. Because states don't have a foreign policy, or wars, the only thing off the top of my head that would constitute an emergency situation taking precedence over TV would be a natural disaster. I don't believe NM has one right now.

Take from a resident of NM, Fat Billy NEVER has anything more important on his agenda then getting his mug on TV. That said, it speaks volumes that he backed out of this. He is a very slick politician, on a par with Clinton and more "under the radar" nationally. He can smell something not to his advantage a mile off. He want's nothing to do with this because he sees the trainwreck coming.

Richardson is a decent person. IMO more of a moderate than extreme liberal; I've thought for a while now he has been embarassed by the Kerry's....

I admire your sentiment, but as a NM resident IMO Richardson is positioning himself for a run for the dem nomination in 2008 and everything he does here is geared towards that end.

I suspect you're right. I don't think he could make it against Hillary, though. That woman is a steamroller and he'd be flatter than a pancake when she got through with him.

That story is so 'radioactive' it'll have 'em all up in their trees before the day is out.
