Ack! I'll have to gouge my eyes out!

Seriously, the lying hasn't even STARTED yet, should the rats dump Lurch, and make the two trips to haul in Hildie.. the full weight and focus will shift on her election to the Senate, and we are going to have some fun looking at those little envelopes she passed along.

Hmmm, I wonder if Kerry says hey, no my job to check the doc, that's up to you... he can skate again.. What's clear, CBS has now jumped aboard Thurston and Lovey's buzzard boat...

Not a lawyer, but I have a request. Make sure you include that old Tom Harkin, and see that he gets a subpoena, I don't care for what, but this old pig is out defaming the President, giving this hoax credibility.

What did he know and when did he know it????

Even better, why would someone go to all that trouble to superscript "th" on a typerwriter (changing the typeset, manually formatting, etc) for a memo designed to never see the light of day?

Whoa! Nice article, and glad to see FR getting some of the credit on this one. Also, re: the Post article--darned glad to see someone in print mentioning the fact that Barnes wasn't Lt. Governor when he said he used that office to get Bush into the ANG. Last night on the various talking head shows, it was frustrating to see guys supposedly on our side just calling Barnes "partisan." I kept yelling at the teevee, "Beat them over the head with a few facts!!"

Subpoena Dan Rather's computer.

He hasn't used it since the coffee cup holder broke off and he couldn't locate the "any" key.

Another error - IN all cases of an officer's signature block, the rank would be followed by the service designation - in this case "LT Col TX ANG"

>>I have to wonder why such a savvy politician as her heinous would spill the beans (albeit vaguely) like that.>>

You mean devious.

All devious criminals tell you about what they will do beforehand. She thinks people aren't smart enough to actually get it. For the Dems, it's true.

..."CBS verified the authenticity of the documents by talking to individuals who had seen the documents at the time they were written. These individuals were close associates of Colonel Jerry Killian and confirm that the documents reflect his opinions at the time the documents were written."...

OK, they verified them with individuals that were associates... These guys are the entire story. Find these "associates" and you find out who is behind this.

Please let it be Kerry...

“What's the typeface, Kenneth?”

Times New Roman

But I believe it should have been "Courier"

:-)

Yep. Sure matches Times New Roman in MS Word.

If a Rep did this, the news would be all over it. Anybody STILL not a believer in the left-biased press? If so, please go on a permanent vacation and never vote again.

P.O. Box 34567? Isn't there a way, using the Post Office's records, to find out whether this address is legit and if so, who it belonged to at the time? Is this being looked into?

This (and the zip codes used in the document) was one of the first things that we looked at on Howlin's original thread. The P.O. Box matches the Squadron's P.O. Box in the early 1970s, according to documents in President Bush's released official record available on usatoday.com. And the zip codes are correct.

We later learned that the address CBS tried to black out was President Bush's address when he entered the Guard, but did NOT match his address in 1972.
