I suggest a letter to the editor is in order!

Let them tar themselves!
Even a moron can see when he's been busted. The longer they string out an obvious lie, the dumber they look.

I just hope that the Seattle Times runs with a front page article on the forgery aspects and this puts the final financial nail in the PI coffin.
If you are from Seattle you know what cr%p the Seattle PI is. The have a big globe here that say's "It's in the PI" my friend saw it and thought Seattle had the biggest Filipino Community in the U.S. We take them and all of the Non-Biased reporting real serious here!
Oh, I didnt like either of those papers when I lived in Seattle during my UW times. All filler. I always said I would learn more from the AP feed from The Daily on campus.
Oh I love it, I hope lots of stupid 'rats are so out of the loop that they're stuck with those "memo" headlines!
"Dewey Beats Truman," only worse!
LOL. I go to UW. As soon as I learned what was up after moving to Seattle, I stopped delivery of the local paper. I get what I need from FR, Rush and FNC, tho it looks like FR is getting to be 'show prep for the media' moreso than Rush these days!
1972 Email Casts Doubt on Bush Guard Service
(2004-09-09) -- CBS reporter Dan Rather today released the text of a recently discovered email from then-Lt. George W. Bush's Air National Guard commanding officer which casts more doubt upon the military service of the man who would become the 43rd President of the United States.
The revelation of the email comes just hours after questions were raised about the authenticity of typewritten memos from the same officer, shown yesterday by Mr. Rather on 60 Minutes.
According to the previously unseen email message sent in May 1972 by squadron commander Jerry Killian, Lt. Bush phoned Col. Killian because "his internet connection was on the fritz and he couldn't IM me."
Lt. Bush apparently wanted to talk about "how he can get out of coming to drill from now through November."
According to Col. Killian's email, the young Bush wanted to go to Alabama to work as webmaster for a Republican candidate's website.
Mr. Rather said the authenticity of the 32-year-old email has been confirmed by several Nigerian officials who specialize in electronic funds transfer by email.
I'll bet W. made all his money back in the 1970s by helping a Nigerian ex-president get his millions out of the Bank of Nigeria.
I wonder if the story was pulled and I would love to hear about the agony, yelling and screaming that went on in the news room regarding the story last night.
What does the Seattle P-I know and do they know that they know it?
well, I was mad and sent them a msg, saying they would be liable for something if they were reporting those documents that were now in question...I also include Drudge's text...
>>tho it looks like FR is getting to be 'show prep for the media' moreso than Rush these days!<<
I tried to become a host on KVI a couple of years ago. My plan was to use the more "obscure" stories from Freerepublic as my starting point for all shows. There is more than enough to talk about from here. It could supply 20 shows a day with a different topic every hour.
Is this only in the on-line edition? It's not in my paper.
I heard FR mentioned several times on CBC Radio the other night on my XM Radio. I was shocked!
On the webpage last night, this big banner was on the top of the page, and it linked to the AP story and copies of the documents. The graphic in post #1 is linked to the P-I....I am surprised that is still up! If you checked the properties of the image, you can see the address.
