I smell a Rat!
They (like Yahoo IMHO) are still trying to spread the negative effects of an already debunked and discredited story. It will backfire on them because as the people find out what a great fraud it is, they will be turned more against it then they otherwise would have been.
Keith Ohlbermann on MSNBC also repeated the lies and at the very end said there was some minor thing going on about their origin. The media wants to make sure that everyone hears the lies hoping they will stick.
Be patient. They're probably looking for a photo of Karl Rove, so they can put it up when they blame him for all this.
Local TV news people generally are sluggish when anything heavier than a "tree down" story comes along. They'll wait for the "real" news people in print media to report it first. Check them tomorrow.
What can you expect from the "old media"...
Give 'em a litle bit of rope...
The fun's only begining. Sheesh.
The libs don't care. The object of the game is to get the lies out. I think that they work on the assumption that even if it comes back up as a lie, some people will still believe it.
They did something similar here in Cali on the news for the local radio stations. They reported Bush received special treatment, there are documents blah, blah, blah then they mentioned at the very end there might be "questions" about the documents .
Like the booing story, they will do everything they can not to retract. Folks, its painfully true - the media is not about reporting the news, but about advancing a liberal and Democrat agenda. It's becoming more and more clear.
Now it is finally coming to the point where they are knowingly running false stories.
They are very foolish. The old media is going to end up with its credibility totally destroyed. I never watch the alphabet networks, and never buy a newspaper any more. The way they are handling this election is disgraceful.
