We used to live in the Caymans.
They said we were having earthquakes all the time, but we never felt them, the explanation I got at the time was that the plates moved in a different way than the plates out west, for instance.

Given that it occured beneath the waters of the Carribean, has anyone mentioned a tsunami risk for the region?
Talk about a double whammy. BTW, the earlier poster who mentioned 90% destruction -- that was in Granada, not Jamaica. Ivan is still a day or so away from Jamaica.
