It was Grenada that had 90% of its houses damaged, Jamaica hasn't been hit yet. But by the time Ivan is through with the island, the number of damaged houses could very well be 90% or higher.

Given that it occured beneath the waters of the Carribean, has anyone mentioned a tsunami risk for the region?
Talk about a double whammy. BTW, the earlier poster who mentioned 90% destruction -- that was in Granada, not Jamaica. Ivan is still a day or so away from Jamaica.

This earthquake was more than 100 miles from the Caymens. They might not have even felt it.
