These are the NEW documents "discovered" by CBS with conjunction with their Ben Barnes expose/confessional tonight regarding George Bush's National Guard service.
They've gotten some interesting comments on the Live Thread, so I thought I'd give them their own thread so you people out there with the knowledge can dissect them for their accuracy/truth/existence.

In his blog,
Hugh Hewitt is going to have a forensics expert on his show this evening to discuss the documents.
The dissemination process we discussed last night happened with lightning speed in this case! LOL

They. Are. So. Busted.
Yup looks like forgeries to me and memos for the files are total bs and contrived stuff. Why does the order to have a physical have no letterhead and the pseudo commander write out is complete name. Then the letter of fake suspension which supposedly would be more "serious", (but who really gives a crap), why does he just initial that document and Commander is missing from the title. Bunch of hogwash. It's totally contrived.

Hannity just credited FReepers fer breaking this story...sounds like he doesn't want to give us the big head, but he was quite laudatory in his remarks!!
Great work, FReepers...MUD

Well, at least FR gets the credit; most news groups just take the information and use it for their own!

"The matter is irrelevent." Perhaps the original "expose" by CBS is ultimately irrelevant, but by discrediting their sources, you are discrediting their reporting and demonstrating the depths to which the Left will sink to get their boy Kerry elected!!

Really? I just went through the list of those posted on the BUSHAWOL site, and didn't see a one. Of course, I never disputed 5000 #8, now did I?
It's the wrong bloody zip code, and anyone who didn't live here or consulted a map without extreme care would make that mistake. I first spotted it when I looked up the records for that property in our database. I can't imagine his commanding officer (or an enlisted man typing up the paperwork) writing a letter to him without looking up the correct address in Lt. Bush's file. And if he were to make a mistake, why and how would that error just happen to be the next zip code over??

Did Drudge credit FR.com? A caller on Hannity's show was saying he saw it on Drudge and Hannity said that he first noticed it from lurking on FR.com. As Reagan said, we can get a lot more accomplished if nobody cares who gets the credit, but it feels good all the same.
Kudos to Hannity fer recognizing FReepers' alertness and yeoman's work...MUD

Great job done by you and those on your ping list!!!!!
I make write letters and make phone calls and rant and rave at the opposition but freeper researchers are the BEST. Who knew we had so many FReepers that knew about typewriter balls? Go figure, there are experts for everything.

The 77027 zip is correct for that year. Check W's released personal records. He provided the address with that zip code. The 77056 post office may have been added later, and the boundaries changed with population growth.

Agreed.
There is not a chance in hell that MS Word from 2004 would create a memo EXACTLY as an IBM typewriter, with or without proportional fonts, would have done in 1973.
Depending on which letter you type and which font, MS Word adjusts the kerning of the letters in front and in back of the letter just typed. It is a dynamic process. Thus, the spacing between 'a' and 'n' in the word "and" is slightly different than it is in "plant". No freak'n IBM Selectric was capable of this automatic adjustment to the front and to the back of a letter.
Anyone who claims that the two could output the exact same letter are full of sh*t. Period.

Ok, and if I jumped too hard on Montrose, I'm sorry. I'm trying to find some documentation online to show when 056 was established. No luck so far.
