SHOWS OF BIAS The Boston Globe claimed that when it published its story on Wednesday that essentially plowed old ground about President Bush's National Guard service, it was merely a coincidence that its sister publication, the New York Times, as well as CBS News and several anti-Bush groups, were mounting a mud-slinging campaign on the same topic on the same day.
That may be true.
But the facts remain that several news organizations continue to sit on stories that are more recent than the events of 1971, and would prove extremely damaging to the Kerry campaign.

Are these guys clueless or what?
I believe they are in the "Or what" category ;) (Bias)
There should be more on the Komrad Kerry Kommie Konnection in France.
I WANT TO KOW WHAT THE STORIES IN THE CAN THAT WILL BE BAD FOR KERRY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No media bias here, right?
Can this guy be that naive? Or was the question dripping with sarcasm?
This is kind of a given, when you see that Kitty Kelly is going to be featured on the Today Show.
Yellow journalism at its worst.

"I don't know why they aren't running the stories," says an editor at one of the news organizations. "The stories are in the can and have been combed through by our lawyers. It's frustrating."
Bloodbath a coming

Much of the money is coming from out of the country. Follow it, if you dare.
I do recommend that one does one's own research into these matters.

Who are they trying to kid? This election is over. Only good manners and an unwillingness to jinx itself is keeping the smooth-running Bush campaign from stating the obvious.Kerry meanwhile is beyond disarray. Vietnam is no longer an issue he can touch. A half-dozen honchos are variously running what's left of his campaign. Has there ever been anything more pathetic than a candidate turning for his salvation to a political giant about to be felled by a quadruple bypass that will keep him out of serious commission past election day?
The clincher came last night, when America Online polled its users. Normally AOL's questions lean N.Y. Times left. But this time there was no beating around the bush. The replies from 322,440 plus respondents (at last count) couldn't have been blunter: 41% predicted Bush wins easily; 29% said "Bush wins tight race." By contrast, only 26% said "Kerry wins tight race," and a pitiful 4% noted "Kerry wins easily." Any way you look at it, that spells Bush over Kerry, by 70 to 30. Even more revealing was the response to the second question, in which 75% answered they're not surprised that President Bush has surged in recent polls; only 25% answered yes.
Word now is that Bush, as one could guess since at least Ken Mehlman's appearance on Meet the Press, is likely to agree to only two debates with Kerry and not three. That's what an incumbent does when he's plainly ahead. Actually, he's a war incumbent with better things to do than waste his time dodging Kerry cheap shots. He should insist on no debates at all this year, unless maybe Mr. Clinton wants to join in the fun. And for old times' sake, Michael Dukakis. Why not?
Some guy who was in the Guard with GW, has been on a radio program tonight and has totally debunked the story.
Sure you know why they aren't running the stories. They are doing the bidding of the DNC, smearing the President on issues that are not even true, and ignoring the stories that prove the horror that is John Kerry. They are the enemy.
The new anti-Bush 527 "Texans for Truth" turns out to be nothing more than an extension of the larger 527 anti-Bush, George Soros- and organized labor-financed, MoveOn.org.
According to a DNC fundraiser, the Texas group approached the party for possible financing about a month ago, but was turned away. "We didn't have the money, and it would have looked terrible to do that anyway," says the fundraiser, who added that the party steered the group to MoveOn.org. So much for that ban on coordination.
MoveOn.org offered to give the Texas group free advertising, as well as assistance in fundraising, but according to a MoveOn.org coordinator with the AFL-CIO, the group actually funneled more than $75,000 of its own money into accounts controlled by the Texas organization.
As well, MoveOn.org media advisers assisted the group in putting together its website and the commercial that is now running in some swing states.
Liberal MSM sitting on reports of Kerry campaign finance 'irregularities', for instance.
