This Saturday is Sept. 11, the third anniversary of, well, Sept. 11. A political organization holding a meeting that day urges its members to show up "wearing some clothing article colored black to mourn the deaths of the thousands of people who have died as a result of U.S. government policies."
That's right, this outfit thinks the anniversary of an attack on America is an appropriate day for a Blame America First-fest. Ah well, we've come to expect such things from moonbat Muslims and commie peaceniks. There's no point in getting upset.
Only this group of ideological extremists consists neither of Islamists nor commies. It's the Libertarian Party and its "presidential candidate," Michael Badnarik. They are, of course, perfectly entitled to exercise their right to freedom of speech. But really, what a bunch of sickos.

Do us both a favor and don't tell anyone we were cordial and even had a laugh...lol
Whyever not? I am ALWAYS cordial to those who are cordial to me.And yes,we did share a lovely giggle. So my reputation is just fine, should this get out. :-)
I'm a libertarian and this an outrage. I find this sickening.
Smokin dope.
Open borders.
Blame America First.
What's to like about this party, in post 9/11/2001 America?
Little to nothing.
Is this nopardonsjeckyll or nopardonshyde? ;)
Neither...always and ever just "nopardons". :-)
Ok darlin..g'night.
Looneytoonians would be a more accurate name. I used to think they had a few valid points until I read some more of their nutty ideas.
The biggest problem with libertarianism is that only a small percentage of the people that make up humanity could live in a libertarian society without tearing it apart. I estimate the percentage at 15%-20%, if that.
A large portion of society is too dumb to understand concepts like "the non-initiation of force," let alone practice them. Another large portion of society are outright criminals that laugh at libertarian concepts.
Libertarianism runs into the same problems Socialism and Communism have - they make assumptions about humanity that just don't exist in most cases.
Nighty night.
Morons. No wonder they get 1%.
I believe in freedom, small Government, and low taxes too ... but I also believe in defending it by supporting our nation through a strong national defense.
Libertarian isolationism is about as quaint and wrong as hoping to repeal the Federal Reserve Board.
I guess I gotta find a new name for my political philosophy.
Are we absolutely positive this story is correct? Could the WSJ be confused with Librarians.
I like that imagery.
I hope we don't have to discuss exactly what these oafs are relieving themselves of..
The unique stench of fear inspired BS is not soon forgotten.
This is an opinion piece posted by a weirdo on the WSJ's editorial response pages. Old sQuid loves to repost these divisive little hits, because they come from a 'respected name' source. -- Cute ploy for a troll..
So, are you saying it might not be true, or a very broad twisting of the truth? It really doesn't sound like something the Libertarian Party would do.
Anyone have a picture of the smurf they ran for US Senate in Montana? The guy was ingesting Silver Nitrate (a toxin) to protect himself from Y2K and ended up with white hair and blue skin - one of the several side-effects of Silver toxicity.
Just when you start to take them seriously, they go and do something like that! As our Jewish Freepers might say - Oy Vey!
I'm saying that its an opinionated hit piece from a anti-libertarian weirdo who happens to work for that WSJ website.
I don't follow, nor do I try to defend the opinions of Libertarian Party members. Most of them are no longer libertarians in my book.
I support the position of the RLC, just as I posted earlier.
Thanks
