The question is, is the heckler a Bush supporter, or a left-over leftist Howard Dean supporter. I suspect the former because he is not dirty, nor does he have long hair and a beard.
Regarding Kerry's words, I don't recall any of the speakers at the Republican convention saying anything after protesters interrupted their speeches.
(BTW, where was Republican security to even let protesters into the convention?)

Republicans shouldn't do this type thing in an indoor setting as it opens the heckler up to trespass charges.
The union muscle showed a measure of restraint, as baseball bats and iron pipes are what they're more accustomed to using.

This can't be true. According to the Cincinnati Post this is what happened:
At the beginning of Kerry's speech, an unidentified man seated with a group of veterans next to the stage stood and began shouting at Kerry, before he was led away by Secret Service agents and Cincinnati police.
