THANKS

Thank you so much! I'm Italian and my English is bad, I know. In my last thread I've made some mistakes. And I'm sorry about it. I've recived a lot of mail from you, my dear American friends. Everybody said that they love Italy and that they are with my country in this orrible hours. Thank you so much for your words, dears. I'm so proud to stand with you today. I'm so proud to believe in the Republican American Party. We will not surrender. Never. Italy is with you in this war. We are in Iraq because we believed in Freedom... And we do it even now. There are a lot of people in this world that don't believe in this war, they don't believe in Freedom. Probally they don't undestand what's going on now in this world. In my bedroom I have two flags: one is the Italian flag (it's the biggest and it's very beautiful), the other one is your American flag. I put it because stay with you today is meaning stay against terror. I'm proud of what the Italian Government did. I'm proud to call Mr. President George W. Bush "friend". Thank you God bless Italy and God bless America.

God bless you and thank you for your post.

If the world would stand together, including now Russia, against those who would masacre our children, we would do far better in the war on terror.

I'm so glad you and your country are standing with us.

Ringraziarlo molto. Ciò è piacevole per sentire. Gli italiani sono stati sempre i nostri amici.

You're nor the only one bud. I'm Canadian and I support the Republicans too. For someone with my left-wing activist past, that's no small feat.

Thank you! The more of us who stand together against the terrorists, the quicker we will defeat them.

We are praying for you and the hostages. Damn these cowardly terrorists. They make war on women and children because they are cowards...they are savages.

Thank you for your support of America and standing beside us as a friend in our time of need. I think I can speak for many Americans and say that we hope that we can return the favor in the future, when you our Italian friend may need a hand. God Bless you and all of Italy. :)

Molte grazie. In 2001 I supported a software for a multinational corporation. During May of that year I visited our affiliate company in Firenze - my first time to visit Italy. I loved it. The people were gracious and friendly, and the food was (needless to say) outstanding.

Shortly after the September 11 attacks one of the first people to e-mail me was a woman from our Firenze affiliate, offering her condolences and support. Since then I've had a great respect and fondness for the people of Italy, and I hope to take my wife to visit next year.
