An excerpt from Steyn's latest has me suspicious that a slaughter of schoolkids is planned for America soon-maybe before the election.

Could what happened in Beslan happen in the US? Two months ago, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported on a fellow called Mohamad Kamal Elzahabi, a suspected terrorist who'd fought with his fellow jihadi in Chechnya and somehow wound up in Minnesota, where he'd applied for licences to transport hazardous materials and drive school buses.

Now, what if some less suspicious "white-looking" Chechen, or female, or some local recruit(s) starts driving school bus and and shows for work up one day and rigs a bus full of kids with explosives? Background checks can be defeated with enough planning. I doubt the enemy will make the same mistake twice.
We are catching way too many suspects up here in Minneapolis. Wonder if this is happening in your city also?

You know, I told my wife a decade ago that we were going to have an us vs. the Muslims war sometime. Back in the early 1980s I saw the fear in the eyes of some fellow EE students from Bahrain when they talked about the Iranians. They knew what was going to happen.
I told my wife that we were going to have to grit our teeth and do the dirty work that needed to be done. That means killing all the Muslims we could until the terrorism was gone, just as we had done in WWII with the Germans and Japanese. My wife complained "what about our friend xxxxx who's a Muslim". I replied that our friend, unfortunately, picked the wrong side in this war.
Over the years I softened somewhat (getting older is a terrible thing!). I actually thought about the "good" Muslims and how we shouldn't hurt them as we go after the "bad" ones. Now, after 9/11 and especially after they've started targeting our children (I have a five year old daughter), I say f*** them all. This is a blood war. The "good" muslims are either too weak or quietly support the bad ones.
I now completely support using every weapon in our arsenal against the Muslims in general. They went after our children and I didn't see the supposedly "good" Muslims doing anything about it. They're all the same in my eyes. Gas them, nuke them, I don't give a damn about a single one. That's just the way it is.
If Bush won't do what needs to be done, I'll support someone who will.
We're rounding them up as fast as possible here in TX. Boy are they screaming about the Patriot Act. Problem is the INS is letting them in faster than we can identify and watch them....Much as I hate the yellow rag, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, they do print the muslim whine op-ed pieces ad nauseum which gives us some names. Recent one was by a Noor Elashi, dau. of Ghassan Elisha, indicted along with his four brothers for connections to the Holy Land Foundation which was funding Hamas, and their company, Infocom, for selling computers to Libya and Syria. She was trying to make a case for her people being "internment victims" like the Japanese in WWII. She writes for a college newspaper in North Texas. Just type her name in Google and see where they're really coming from--Israelis are terrorist--Malcolm X our hero, etc, etc.
Yep, the Clinton Legacy rears its ugly little head once again...
"Instant Justice" means a lynch mob or even worse. I would volunteer to serve in a firing squad.
Yesterday, while waiting in line to pick up my daughter from kindergarten, I noticed a Coca-Cola truck parked right next to the breezeway. I found myself thinking what if terrorists were to do something like take over a common everyday delivery truck such as a Coke truck, etc... and load it up with explosives. There's always a police car parked across the street but I've never seen the cop. I really believe our schools are next. I wonder if they would target the Christian private schools first though. Wasn't the Beslan school a Christian one too?

I did hear there was a lynching of one of the perpetrators in the Russian school incident.....never heard anything after that.
"Lockdown drills" = "sitting duck drills". I have got to talk with my children. You hear shooting, explosions, screams, you run in the opposite direction, head low. Hide in the woods. Teacher blocks the door, you go out the window.
Eight year old wants home-schooling. He may well get it. Older children want their public school. They are free Americans too.
May God protect all children and send angels to stand between them and evil.
I know this is going to sound very tin-foil hat, but I had a dream about this very thing last night. Problem was it was the bus my son and daughter ride to school. The door had been rigged and the police were trying to figure out a way to defeat the booby-trap. I know. Flame away.
Chris, your post #31 sums up neatly what the American people ought to do.
Of course, in the rural areas, this is already pretty much the case. Anyone invading a rural house while occupied is committing suicide since I would estimate that darn close to 100 percent of the people in those houses have guns.
On the other hand, urban America is largely unprepared to defend themselves.
I've been posting about this on FR since 9/11. I expected AQ to target daycares, etc. with hostage-takings to create chaos here. If something like this happened at my daughter's preschool, I'd kill as many Muslims as I could. I want them to be afraid to live here - both the "good" ones and the bad ones. I don't care.
Which the møøselimbs could then use as ready made bunkers.
I don't understand it either. The ostrich head in the sand is a good descriptive for this.
We've been kept in the dark for so long. It's as if EVERY administration for 50 or more years has tried to keep us from getting riled up.

Their listeners get it. From the calls you can tell a lot of people get it.
But you'd never know it from most of our media talking heads.
Laura saying the President should give a major address to the American people, spelling out the threat from terrorism around the world.
