Bush only lost New Mexico by a few hundred points, last election, it seems it is still close there.

Why should the idea of Kerry winning bother anyone? After all, he realizes that the threat of terrorism is overblown and should be handled as a law enforcement problem. We might have a few incidents in our schools like they did in Beslan last week, and we're certainly strong enough to handle a nuclear attack or two. It's a small price to pay for the support of France and the rest of the global community, isn't it? (sarcasm off)

That's good news. Hope it keeps up. It would be nice to get these 5 EV's in case WV doesn't come through (which it should).

Less than two months now and this election will be over, and I can not wait....Let's hope that Bush wins New Mexico by a huge margin.

New Mexico’s five electoral votes went to Democrat Al Gore in the 2000 election, who defeated Bush by 366 ballots.

What they fail to say is that Bush actually did win, and at the last minute there were some ballots "found" sitting in a room unattended. Hah! It was voter fraud at it's best. We have Clinton's boy Richardson as our Governor, and a big time RAT. Most think he will try to help get Kerry in, but I personally think he's going to be Hillary's VP choice in 2008, so I look for him to help get Bush reelected. Not out in the open, but I feel very sure he's going to do what is necessary. I could be wrong, but when he turned down the opportunity to be Kerry's VP, I suspected she was going to tag him. He will carry the Hispanic vote for her.

So this was taken before Bush and Miller? Could be even better.

My hippy ex-neighbors and fellow towns-folks in Taos must be pretty disturbed by this trend. Probably have to postpone the weekly bath at the hot springs, smoke another few joints, dip into the trust fund to get some reiki and crystal healing, and put on some smooth reggae till it all blows over. Just a bad dream, man . . .

Right now, Bush 285EV and Kerry 237EV, the rest EV toss ups. It's still close in the battleground states. Kerry is down, but not out.

My entire extended family in NM is voting for Kerry. :(

My parents went there on a visit recently and were horrified to learn this. More disturbing was how incredibly apathetic they were to the danger of terrorism.

I pretty much wrote off the Land of dis-Enchantment when they jumped in bed with gore. ...And the Leftwing Liberal Loony in the governors mansion.....

Albuequreque is too damn big and too frustrating to spell consistently.......

Las Cruces has become a suburb of El Paso - TO MANY PEOPLE.

Satna Fe has a homosexual population density that rivals San Fransisco....... (Not that there is anything wrong with that{HA!})........

...sorry,

It would be nice to have them back in the fold.

Zogby is resorting to flat out lying to try to save his man Kerry.

Unlike EVERY other poll, Zogby now says Kerry has the lead in
the vast majority of battleground states
..Sounds like Baghdad Bob!

Zogby EVEN says New Mexico has moved so strongly Kerry that it
is now beyond even the margin of error!

Zogby is sooooooo full of chit. But he knows many places
like real clear politics AVERAGES several polls and these
rediculous polls are enough to bring many averages back
to Kerry (slightly).

The Beltway Boys are PARTICULARLY wimpy at eating up whatever
steaming pile Zogby serves.
