But it's not clear whether Clinton will recover in time to make any appearances with the presidential hopeful before voters cast their ballots. How conveinient.

Sure, Clinton will be well for the election, if all goes well with his surgery he will be up and at it in 4 -6 weeks.. plenty of time to play a victim of some sort, and tout their great health care, and wishing every American could have the same..

"Even if everything goes well with Clinton's surgery, he's going to be out of commission for months," a leading New York Democrat told the New York Post, That's bullsh*t. I know people who have had quadruple bypass surgery who were out of the hospital in less than a week and back at work within two weeks. And I'm talking about painters, contractors, etc.
Obviously Clinton, the DNC and Big Media will milk this for all it's worth. It took him almost 6 months to recover from a twisted knee. This will get nauseous (noxious?).

I like the way that Kerry's campaign and the Democratic party flaks are spinning the idea of the "90 minute call from his hospital bed" in which Clinton imparted knowledge (de-emphasize Vietnam). Presumably this story is being spread with Kerry's understanding/acceptance/tacit approval. But - what does it mean when a guy can make such a strategic blunder in running a political campaign? I'm sure he wants to blame it on Mary Beth Cahill at some point - but that only implicates the stupidity of choosing your campaign staff from Ted Kennedy's bull pen. Kerry is in a world of hurt - which he constructed.

No doubt america can't wait to have the likes of Albright, Berger, Reich, and other assorted losers back in a Kerry administration.

Now that a lot of Clinton aides are on board with the Kerry campaign, just think how easy it becomes to replace him with Hitlery in October (surprise) when Kerry has to step down because of his actions after Vietnam. BTW, Hitlery is registered with the FEC as a Presidential candidate for 2003.

Presidential nominee John Kerry, who no doubt feels Mr. Clinton's pain most acutely, reportedly had a 90 minute telephone conversation with the ex-prez on Sunday, where the two talked over possible remedies for his flagging campaign. Possible Remedy #4 - Playing the Carnahan/Wellstone card.

This is nonsense. First they complain that clinton is sucking all of the air out of Kerry's campaign because he is making too many appearances, and now they complain that he is going to wreck Kerry's campaign because he can't campaign for him.
Well, which is it? And by the way, why can't Kerry campaign for himself?
< That was a rhetorical question. >

You've got to help me, Mr. President; please!
Clinton: Hey now; get a grip on yourself! You ain't been doin' too bad up to now. The only problem is, you ain't got enough passion. You gotta get out there and project some energy, ya know? Scream; yell; wave your arms around; go all red in the face. Use the F-word; call that old bastard Bush a dirty name or two. Tell 'em how there's this big conspiracy to drag your reputation through the mud, and they've been out to get you ... out to get you ever since you was in the Navy defendin' Old Glory. Act like you mean it, boy! Now go on out there and sic 'em!
Kerry: Golly, Mr. President, do you really think it would work?
Clinton: Would I lie to you?

Keep in mind, that Impeached Former President (IFP) bill clinton gave extensive advise to alleged and former California Governor gray davis in his recent defense of his office during a recall election. IFP clinton's advice was quite useful, and in fact, Mister davis finished the election as an impressive second place.
Regarding IFP clinton's surgery, I really wonder if his cardiovascular disease is due to genetic predisposition, or might be more "self inflicted" in nature (giving him and Mr. kerry some ironic common ground.)
