"Slap 'em when they preface a question with some insult to conservatives."

Alan Colmes is a great practitioner of this tactic and needs to be confronted on it.

I found this practice common in department meetings when I first came to the university---colleagues would throw in "quips" during (supposedly) business discussions. I would immediately hit back with an anti-lib slam, and soon the quips stopped.

It's funny, though: even now when people agree with my points, they usually preface their statements with "I don't usually agree with LS, but . . ." so as to insulate themselves from their colleagues' comments.

They need to be bitch-slapped when they lie like snot-nosed brats!

Think of The Maltese Falcon where 'Bogie grabs Joel Cairo(the effeminate wuss played by Peter Lorre) by the collar and cuffs him. Lorre bleats, “I told you nevvver to touch meeee!” and 'Bogie says 'sumpin like, “I'll slap 'ya and you'll take it!”

It makes for great film-noir!
