The bloody siege of a Russian school by Chechen rebels brought widespread condemnation and soul-searching in the Islamic world yesterday.Arab newspapers and television broadcasts were full of dramatic photographs of the children killed and injured in the siege by Islamic rebels demanding Chechen independence from Russia. Commentators and clerics put a harsh spotlight on those who kill and maim in Islam's name.
"What is the guilt of those children? Why should they be responsible for your conflict with the government?" Egypt's top Muslim cleric, Grand Sheik Mohammed Sayed Tantawi, asked during a sermon in Banha, 30 miles north of Cairo.
"You are taking Islam as a cover and it is a deceptive cover. Those who carry out the kidnappings are criminals, not Muslims," said Tantawi, according to Egypt's Middle East News agency.
Yesterday's headline over the daily column by Abdulrahman Al-Rashed in the pan-Arab Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper was "The Painful Truth: All the World Terrorists Are Muslims!"
The column by Al-Rashed, general manager of Al-Arabiya television, listed recent attacks by Islamic extremist groups in Russia, Iraq, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, many influenced by Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.
"Our terrorist sons are an end product of our corrupted culture," said the columnist, noting that "most perpetrators of suicide operations in buses, schools and residential buildings around the world for the past 10 years have been Muslims."
Al-Rashed called on Muslims to "admit the scandalous facts" instead of rationalizing them.
The Chechen hostage-takers sullied Islam's image, wrote the Egyptian Islamist Ahmed Bahgat in his column in Egypt's leading pro-government newspaper, Al-Ahram.
"If all the enemies of Islam united together and decided to harm it ... they wouldn't have ruined and harmed its image as much as the sons of Islam have done by their stupidity, miscalculations and misunderstanding of the nature of this age," Bahgat wrote.

it is important to wake the world up. it is like serving in a war. the more information we can get out, the less likely these things can happen. had the airport screeners watched these videos and been aware, Mohammed Atta might never have gotten on board (they were detained 45 minutes, they might have called in additional security).
these people must choose for themselves. yes they are blinded but many are choosing to be blind, and further, are smiling as they continue this effort. we would that they would respond (John 3:17-18) but they must choose for themselves. after all the Gospel started in the Middle East and it is often rejected right there.

There are two kinds of Jihad. That one kind of Jihad is inner struggle. Not that that I see them struggling very much as far as self reflection and self criticism. Islamics don't seem to have much self doubt. They tend to blame others for their woes.

Was channel surfing & stopped on CNN & they were doing Man in the street interviews in Moscow & the general opinion was that the USA was doing the right thing as far as fight terrorists & that Russia should join the fight on OUR side against the jihadi's . Things are gonna get very unpleasent for the jihadis before to long, as they have seriously pissed off there main weapons supplier & the Russian army while not the most speed of heat in the Special Ops area has the basics down for the most part.
The IRA went out of bussiness on 9-11-01 as more than 90% of it's financial & moral support watched the twin towers fall, the a$$h*le$ that are causing trouble in Ulster are being hunted down by not only the British but also the political wing of the IRA - Sein Fein & the trouble makers are lucky if the Brits catch them .

Actually the newest English language versions of the koran are softened up vs the older versions I read in 1960 in college wherein the older cover page read: "Kill all Jews!", - -Penguin publications paperback, London.
The newer translations are apparently attempting to present the koran as a very non-violent "religious" work to fit it with the propaganda issued by moslem commentators as a religious book of peace being circulated in the Western World. The koran versions in arabic being read by the Middle Eastern countries are quite different from the ones offered up in English in the West.
Mohammed is a man for all seasons, = the chameleon koran...ever changing to fit their aims of deluding the West.
try to get some pre-1970's copies of the koran before 1972 Israeli Olympic massacre and the difference will be very plain to see.
The Munich Massacre

It was 4:30 in the morning on Sept. 5, 1972, when five Arab terrorists wearing track sweat suits climbed the six-foot six-inch fence surrounding the Olympic Village. Although they were seen by several people, no one thought anything was unusual since athletes routinely hopped the fence; moreover, the terrorists' weapons were hidden in athletic bags. These five were met by three more men who are presumed to have obtained credentials to enter the village.
Just before 5, the Arabs knocked on the door of Israeli wrestling coach Moshe Weinberg. When Weinberg opened the door he realized something was wrong and shouted a warning to his comrades. He and weightlifter Joseph Romano attempted to block the door while other Israelis escaped, but they were killed by the terrorists. The Arabs then succeeded in rounding up nine Israelis to hold as hostages.
At 9:30, the terrorists announced that they were Palestinians and demanded that Israel release 200 Arab prisoners and that the terrorists be given safe passage out of Germany.
After hours of tense negotiations, the Palestinians, who it was later learned belonged to a PLO faction called Black September, agreed to a plan whereby they were to be taken by helicopter to the NATO air base at Firstenfeldbruck where they would be given an airplane to fly them and their hostages to Cairo. The Israelis were then taken by bus to the helicopters and flown to the airfield. In the course of the transfer, the Germans discovered that there were eight terrorists instead of the five they expected and realized that they had not assigned enough marksmen to carry out the plan to kill the terrorists at the airport.
After the helicopters landed at the air base around 10:30 p.m., the German sharpshooters attempted to kill the terrorists and a bloody firefight ensued. At 11, the media was mistakenly informed that the hostages had been saved and the news was announced to a relieved Israeli public. Almost an hour later, however, new fighting broke out and one of the helicopters holding the Israelis was blown up by a terrorist grenade. The remaining hostages in the second helicopter were shot to death by one of the surviving terrorists.
At 3 a.m., a drawn and teary-eyed Jim McKay, who had been reporting the drama throughout the day as part of ABC's Olympic coverage, announced: "They're all gone."
Five of the terrorists were killed along with one policeman, and three were captured. A little over a month later, on Oct. 29, a Lufthansa jet was hijacked by terrorists demanding that the Munich killers be released.
The Germans capitulated and the terrorists were let go, but an Israeli assassination squad was assigned to track them down along with those responsible for planning the massacre. According to George Jonas in Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team, eight of the 11 men targeted for death were killed. Of the remaining three, one died of natural causes and the other two were assassinated, but it is not known for sure if they were killed by Israeli agents.
Meanwhile, the mastermind of the massacre remains at large. In fact, in 1999, Abu Daoud admitted his role in his autobiography, Memoirs of a Palestinian Terrorist. He claims his commandos never intended to harm the athletes and blamed their deaths on the German police and the stubbornness of then-Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (JTA, May 4, 1999).
The massacre of 11 Israeli athletes was not considered sufficiently serious to merit canceling or postponing the Olympics. "Incredibly, they're going on with it," Jim Murray of the Los Angeles Times wrote at the time. "It's almost like having a dance at Dachau."

PMJI, but your information is woefully incomplete. Not only was there an Islamic component to the Oklahoma City bombing, there were specific Iraqi, Palestinian and Al Quaida connections. McVeigh and Nichols were involved, but there is compelling evidence that they were not the masterminds, but were in fact used and set-up to take the fall by their Middle-Eastern handlers.
This information has been available for years, but only recently has a succinct, easily available summary of this evidence existed for the general public. I'm referring to investigative reporter Jayna Davis' new book "The Third Terrorist - The Middle Eastern Connection To The Oklahoma City Bombing". You owe it to yourselves to read this book.
