THIS is the poll we'll all hear about.
I don't understand their numbers, they sure don't change much even as all the rest change drastically.
Isn't this one of the automated polls?
Not really sure of their numbers, no, it is not an automated poll (as far as I know), and it is of LIKELY Voters.....
Just putting it out there.
You can bet CNN will touting this poll as the most accurate and the double digit "W" poll as flawed!

Unless Time & Newsweek were purposely inflated numbers?
Actually, I think it's the way they do the interactive polls - same people so perhaps their minds are made up
Polls right now mostly reflect the news cycle. Here is the most accurate poll I've seen.
In a 3 way race between President Bush, Senator Kerry and Hurricane Frances:
With a margin of error of 3%
While I'm not sure about RASS polls - in how accurate they are - I think his numbers of one of a group we need to look at -
With that said, the reason the NewsWeek poll had such a drastic change was because of how they fudged with their "weightings" to some degree (Newsweek polls are junk...they are right up there with CBS polls) -
I think even the Times/CNN poll fudged with the weigthings a little to make such a drastic change appear -
The fact is that GWB definitely got a bounce out of his convention - However, it is doubtful that we have a 10 pt lead at this time either - (probably around 5 to 8)
It's the libs standard trick .. weekend polls .. notariously when repubs are at church. These polls are ALWAYS LOWER than other polls.
Let them have their stinking polls .. it will be even more devasting on 11/3 when they realize they have been swamped by AMERICANS.
Rasmussen's numbers cannot change quickly because he averages the last three days of polling. This is a reasonable and cautious method. We shall see if it is more accurate.
My gut feeling is the Time and Newsweak polls are designed to show a rapid shift away from Bush.
