I like the last paragraph. :)
And Steyn can say more in fewer words than anyone else!
Gotta love him!
Kerry: Thurston Howell III to a 'T'.
Perfect!
Excellent and hilarious article. Sorry for sounding naive, but is Steyn that funny guy who's on Hannity & Colmes every now and then?
I don't think I've ever seen Steyn on Hannity and Colmes. Are you thinking of Mark Levin? He has a New York accent. Mark Steyn has a British accent. He is a regular once a week on Hugh Hewitt's radio program.
I have two words: spot on. Or one, if it's hypenated (Spot-on?). Anyway, Steyn is fantastic. As usual.
Yes, thanks. It is Mark Levin who I had in mind. He's a scream.
Oh yes, I like Mark Levin too. One time a while back they had him on Hannity and Colmes. They had the screen split into thirds with him in the middle and two liberals on the side. The liberals were both women and they were yammering at him at the same time. He said something to the affect--I can't think! I've got stereo liberals in my ear! It was really funny.
LOL. The first time I saw him was on H&C a few months back. He was telling everyone to shut up, including Sean. I wish I could see more of him.
I think you mean MASTERLY wordsmith, which means he has the skills of a master. Masterful has a negative connotation of bullying arrogance.
Do you get to listen to Sean's radio program? Mark Levin often fills in for Sean. I think he's got his own radio program but I'm assuming it's only heard in New York. Sean has him on at Christmas time playing as Santa for the kids calling in--at least he did last Christmas--I'm guessing it's a tradition. It's funny to hear a Jewish guy with a New York accent playing as Santa. The only other things I know about him are that he is an attorney, he held some position in the Reagan administration, he writes articles on occasion, and he has had heart problems that required surgery.
He is hysterical. I LOVE Mark Levin. You can get him on streaming audio off http://www.wabcradio.com
Thanks.
So my problem is that I can't break away from my local hero Howie Carr. I wish he would go national.
At the Globe and the parent Times, they take their Kool-aid intravenously.
Thanks for the info on Mark Levin. I only saw him that one time on H&C, and I almost fell off the sofa laughing.
It fits with the NPD diagnosis. Exacerbated by the malign presence of the execrable MamaT.
I think I've heard of Howie Carr. So he's not a newcomer to bashing Mr. Kerry, huh?--ha, ha. Seems like someone posted something from his website and he was really going after Kerry--it must have been during their convention--maybe it was the liberals in town that he was going after. Well, I don't blame you for sticking with Carr. To tell you the truth, Hannity is not my favorite guy on the radio. He is all right but not my favorite. I used to watch his show more in the past but we only have MSNBC now and I have to go over to my parent's to see Fox. I listen to his radio show in Denver when he comes on at 1 and then switch to Medved at 2.
