COLOR KERRY GONE
Fiedor Report On the News #315 ^ | 9-5-04 | Doug Fiedor

Posted on 09/04/2004 12:57:00 PM PDT by forest

Last week I suggested that the people Kerry hired to run his campaign were incompetent and/or probably do not want him to win. Most have strong Clinton loyalties. This week, we hear rumbles that heads are about to roll among the Kerry-Edwards campaign staff.

Of course, there is no way I would believe Kerry reads my babble -- or would act on the information even if he did. But, I'll reiterate: Kerry couldn't be running a worse campaign if he tried.

That's a problem for me, too, actually. Kerry is just too darn easy of a target.

Look at it from my point of view as a political scribbler: I've been collecting well referenced material disparaging to Kerry for the past couple months. Over the past weeks, I have traded (only) referenced information with various veteran groups and Republican activists around the country. Fact is, I have over 800 well-referenced articles from which to rip off information anytime I wish to use the information. I had most of that even before the Swifties book "Unfit for Command" was released and their spots hit the airwaves.

The Swifties are doing a yeoman's job (excuse the pun!) of releasing some of the information, but have not hit on it all yet. Of course, they are far from done. . . .

When the information collection started, there was a plan, an agreement of sorts, between the different groups. That was, we would dummy up about what we had until after the DNC convention was over. The reason was that we did not want to trash Kerry and then have Hillary waltzing up onto the stage at the convention to "save the party" from a dead candidate.

So, the plan was -- I knew almost nothing about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in those days -- that, first, some veterans would publish information concerning Kerry's antics in Vietnam. Later, we would start on Kerry's treasonous activities after leaving the Navy (which I could help with). And last, we would start dissecting Kerry's sorry Senate record.

Well, folks, here were are, just starting September, and the Kerry campaign is already dead in the water.

That sure was quick, huh. I can almost delete my Kerry folder now. Politically, Kerry has lied himself right out of a job -- and maybe out of politics forever. Seriously, if the Democratic Party allows Kerry to continue with this foolishness, I predict President George W. Bush will sweep at least 48 states.

Heck, just look at that silly Kerry campaign nowadays; they are down to parsing every word President Bush says, just to be contrary and have something to say that may hit the news. Even though most of the liberal national media acts like it is part of the Kerry campaign, Kerry is still losing traction more and more every day.

People (even Republicans) are starting to wonder if the Democratic Party actually cares if Democrats win this year. If George Bush wins big, which it seems as he will, he will pull in quite a few new members of Congress on his coattails. That could mean the well-earned demise of the Social-Democrats for at least a decade.

Kerry's biggest blunder was to let Terry McAuliffe -- a staunch Clinton supporter -- stay as chair of the DNC. Last week's heated argument between the Kerry campaign and the DNC was because McAuliffe tried to put Hillary on TV every night of the GOP convention as part of the DNC's "truth squad." McAuliffe, of course, supports the Clintons much more than the Kerry-Edwards ticket, which is making a lot of people wonder what may be going on in the background we don't hear about.

In truth, I do not know if the DNC can legally dump Kerry, an obvious loser, and bring out another candidate at this time. But, what I do know is that the leadership of the DNC supports Hillary, not Kerry. And, I also know that any candidate they run will not have to do fundraising because they will get $75-million for their campaign from the federal government.

Perhaps the DNC is going to sit back and take their losses come November. But, I for one find that hard to believe. I think there may be some shenanigans in the works. Which means, don't be real surprised if there's a quick switch at the head of the ticket this month.

We need to be prepared ahead of time. If the Dems are about to pull a Torricelli, can they get a new candidate on the ballot in all 50 states? How and when would they 'choose' a new nominee? We need to do the legal research on this now so we don't get caught on our heels.

That said, putting Hillary on the ballot in place of Kerry would be great for us. It would kill Hillary's national aspirations - she'd be stepping into a losing race at the last minute against a sitting President with incredible strength. Even given her formidable talents, I don't see how she can pull it off. President Bush is not Rick Lazio.

I don't think we should be complacent, as anything can happen in the debates.

I think, Kerry's managers were actually more right than he was. They wanted him to lay low on the Swiftboat controversy.

Fact is, this was a light weight candidate. In fact, the Dems really didn't have anyong to run against Bush with any credentials.

The dems are realizing now that they picked the wrong horse. He does not have the background for the job, plus he lies. His background gives us the image of a some kind of con man.

His wife was a huge liability. His running mate, a trial lawyer for God's sake. PEOPLE HATE TRIAL LAWYERS!!!!

The whole US isn't the same as NJ.

A key deadline passed last week, so the Eagleton Gambit
is already out of reach. And the EG gambit didn't save
the ticket anyway.

Can the DNC can pull off 50 separate Torch/Laut
Maneuvers? If they can, does Hill want to have the
loss in her scorebook?

Because they lie and cheat and whine. America needs to recognize that the demoncrat party is a criminal enterprise.

Kerry's problem is that if he tells the truth about who he really is--a tax and spend liberal, a treasonous anti-war critic, the senator with the most anti-military (and intelligence) voting record, a guy who used a few months in Viet Nam to pad his resume and take some movies--he wouldn't have a chance in Hell to win.

So, his game plan has been to deny, tap-dance, and just plain lie about all of the above. Now, with the help of the Swifties, Fox News, Talk Radio, the Bloggers, and the rest of the internet community, Kerry still has ownership of all of the above-mentioned problems, only now he is a liar and a flip-flopper to boot.

I agree. I wish the Democrats had nominated Dean. The result would have been the same, but it would have been more fun.

Kerry is no fun. He fell right over.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/keyword?k=torricelli

(See stories from October 2002 under that keyword)

They have already, in the 2002 NJ Senate race, remember? The last-minute switch where they dropped Torricelli and replaced him with Lautenberg, AFTER the legal deadline to change candidates had elapsed, and Lautenberg then won? Lautenberg is now a sitting Senator, election law be damned.

But Kerry has Marvin:

As everyone-who-is-anyone knows, Marvin Nicholson is John Kerry's hand-picked, personal butler, valet, liegeman, retainer, menial, squire, footboy, lackey, flunky, equerry, groom, wallah, swineherd, chamberlain, subaltern, vassal -- the list goes on and on, filling a whole half a page in the thesaurus.

Yes, Marvin Nicholson is the dear senator's designated dogs-body, his eager ankle-biter, his private step'n fetchit who dials his telephone for him, pops open his bumbershoot at the first drop of rain (that coif mustn't be mussed), picks out (may even tie) his expensive neckwear, schleps his fashionable luggage, selects his tedious menu, snowboards protectively alongside him,

johnkerryisdangerousforamerica.blogspot.com

wakes him up in the morning and (no foolin') tucks him in at night.

To hear the New York Times tell it -- now would the New York Times make up anything? -- "Kerry would be helpless without his trusty manservant, Marvin Nicholson."

... No Want Unattended

An April 28 article in the newspaper that prints all the news that fits its agenda (which makes one wonder how this one got past the 43nd Street editorial trolls), Kerry's butler has on him at all times, or within instant reach, such absolute necessities of stressful political life as:

Loose change, Tylenol, Advil, Advil Liquid Gels, Advil Sinus pills, Swedish hand cream, Halls cough drops, Scope mouthwash, a tube of Blistex, Band-Aids, a sewing kit, little zip-lock plastic baggies containing made-fresh-daily peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches wrapped in aluminum foil of course, cans of strawberry diet milkshake, Imodium and Handiwipes.

Wipes? That raises the question -- not answered here, you can bet your bippy -- of just what it is the pampered senator can or can't or won't do for himself, unassisted, on his very own, now that he's over age 3.

Never Leave Home Without One

This little boy who never grew up doesn't need a butler. He doesn't need a vice president.

What John Kerry needs is a nanny.

And Hillary Clinton thinks she may want to be his vice-presidential running mate? Say what else you will about Hill, a nanny she's not.

Right, Bill?

"That's a problem for me, too, actually. Kerry is just too darn easy of a target."

wELL SAID and a concern of mine for months.

Have had a wary, uneasy feeling and curiosity for months that all this is a puppet master setup.

Just have had trouble figuring it out. Why? To what end?

Would love for some brainstorming inputs.

1) Perhaps they are setting Bush up to have to deal with some really awful catastrophe's the first year or two of his term. Then a major push by the puppet masters and the Commies to surrender everything to a world government due to supposed incompetence, assassination, whatever.

2) Perhaps they are setting the pouplation up--especially the rabid left parts--to end up in a viscious neighborhood to neighborhood civil war--in the midst of which the UN et al would be called in by what--rogue military elements? to quell the civil war, restore order

and, 'just coincidentally'

establish the world government more overtly and formally beginning with USA being in rigid tyrannical control of the UN.

any other possibilities???

See! And there were some here on FR who didn't take Hill's possible power grab seriesly. Ha! Here's a likely scenario: Once Bill's on the mend...a couple of days, by next Friday, tops, TerAYsa checks into the loony bin, and Kerry has to drop out in order to take over all her money. Hill runs as a hawk...she ate turkey in Iraq. I can't bear to detail the rest of her platform. It's too awful. 'We'll take stuff away from you for the common good', and that's just for starters.

Does anybody know the law that regulates when a new candidate can replace a previous one in the presidential race. I thought that once the convention was over and the candidate accepts the nomination, there can't be any switch in candidates. They may drop out of the race, meaning that Bush will run unopposed. Does anybody have the specific law which covers this?
