Heart Doc: GOP Convention May Have Saved Clinton's Life

Republicans may have inadvertently saved ex-President Bill Clinton's life this week, a Boston doctor said Saturday, by staging a convention that got his blood boiling and caused symptoms of his heart blockage to surface for the first time.

"Listening to Republican speeches at the convention could have increased Clinton's adrenaline and set things off," Dr. Christopher Cannon, of Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital, told the New York Post.

Calling from his bed at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, Clinton told CNN's Larry King Friday night that he sought medical help only "when I finally got some tightness in my chest."

"I feel really blessed, you know, because a lot of people who have a heart attack never get any advance warning," he added.

Clinton said that if he hadn't learned about his condition in time, "there is virtually 100 percent chance" that he would have had a heart attack, but didn't mention whether he'd been following the GOP confab.

As Michael Savage said, "Hell was full, so Bill will be among us for awhile more." (Something like that).

LOL...I said in another post I wished him the best...as long as he didn't blame his chest pains on Zell Miller.
So does this get me off the hook?

"Republicans may have inadvertently saved ex-President Bill Clinton's life..."

That's right, blame everything on the Republicans. Next they'll be saying it was all a plot by that vast right wing conspiracy.

Some FReeper earlier posted about the fact that Clinton will not be campaigning for Kerry over the next 2 months because of the recuperative process after such surgery.

Cynical? Yeah!

Baloney.

The RNC was actually calming to Bill, because he knew
it meant that he & Hill didn't need to tip their hand
in sabotaging Kerry with the old FBI files. Kerry was
doomed all on his own.

Once again, the party of compassionate conservatism saves lives and sends blessings across the aisle. You're welcome, Bill!

Boooooooo Hear that AP were booing. Booing the doctor, Clinton could not care less about Kerry.

Clinton's nose caused his heart condition and what he did with his nose this week caused it to get worse.

My first thought when I heard the news was that this was "timed" to get Klintoon out of campaigning for sKerry and at the same time taking all of the Ketchup Boy's publicity.

Reading this: "Listening to Republican speeches at the convention could have increased Clinton's adrenaline and set things off," Dr. Christopher Cannon, of Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital, told the New York Post. is raising my blood pressure. SOOOOOO if I have a coronary it's Clinton's fault.

Personally, I think this is an attention ploy. Yes, he may have need the surgery but...the timing is suspicious.
