THE mass murder of children revolts the human psyche. Herod sending his henchmen to massacre the infants of Bethlehem haunts the Gospels. Nothing in our time was crueler than what the Germans did to children during the Holocaust. Slaughtering the innocents violates a universal human taboo. Or a nearly universal one. Those Muslims who preach Jihad against the West decided years ago that killing Jewish or Christian children is not only acceptable, but pleasing to their god when done by "martyrs."
It isn't politically correct to say this, of course. We're supposed to pretend that Islam is a "religion of peace." All right, then: It's time for Muslims to stand up for the once-noble, nearly lost traditions of their faith and condemn what Arab and Chechen terrorists and blasphemers did in the Russian town of Beslan.
If Muslim religious leaders around the world will not publicly condemn the taking of children as hostages and their subsequent slaughter if those "men of faith" will not issue a condemnation without reservations or caveats then no one need pretend any longer that all religions are equally sound and moral.

The author said "An attack on children is an attack on all humanity." Truer words have never been spoken. The islamists have set the stage for their own, well-deserved destruction. It remains to be seen whether or not we do the right thing, and rise to the occasion and annihilate this vile pox on mankind. islam is at a crossroads: it can retreat from its present course of hatred and bigotry and savagery and death, and thus rehabilitate itself; or it can be finally and completely destroyed. I think islam has opted for the latter. If that's the case, then let's accommodate it.
Hey!
Long time no see amigo.
Actually, there are quite a few condemnations there, and there have been a lot all along. We are failing miserably at giving them airtime, and that's a huge mistake.
I have to find something online that's truly significant to this whole struggle.
Let me dig it up and post it as soon as I can.
Great to "see" you again.
P.S. I expect Putin to strike back just as you said.
I stopped pretending a while back.
You mean "what the MSM is failing to do. Add that to the long list of lies, inaccuracies, distortions and blank holes the Fourth Estate is responsible for. If there are innocent Muslims that condemn these atrocities and refute the radical view of Islam and they end up being persecuted or killed then the MSM can take its share of the blame for it.
They lied about Vietnam and they are lying about Iraq and they lie about Pres. Bush. Their honor is little better than the terrorists. Someday 'innocent' columnists and editors may be protesting their persecution.
Great list of the deeds by the "religion of peace". It would be great to see the listed completed.
Quite so.
Exactly correct. Terrorism cannot be defeated as it's just a tactic. But Islam can be. Unfortunately, not one of our leaders has the courage to address Islam's inherent problems. That's why this Iraq business is going to be counterproductive.
"...And what will terror's apologists say when the killers come for their own children?"
They'll just blame Bush and those evil conservative Republicans, of course.
I am so sick and beside myself over this incident. The MSM is reeling, wondering how they can spin this evil so that the Security Moms and Dads don't leans towards Bush this November. The DUummies are already making claims that Bush and Putin may have orchestrated this horror to gain points on the war against terror and votes. Unbelievable--yet that is the mindset of the left. That's why weaklings and appeasers like John Kerry must never be President during these evil times!!!
There are so mmany more that have been written off to "crazy people"
attack on empire state building deck
attack on el al at LAX
attack on van of jewish students in NYC
and these are the "smaller"incidents that get forgotten
"Delenda est Carthago":
Carthage must be utterly destroyed. (A phrase with which Cato the elder would utter after finishing a discourse in the Roman senate. He urged the Roman people to the destruction of Carthage, which he looked on as a dangerous rival to Rome.)
"Delenda est Islam"
All we know today is that where the once mighty city of Carthage stood there is now a desert of salt. Nothing was left standing. Salt was imported to make sure nothing grows out of Carthage again.
We may one day need to revisit the prophetic saying of Cato uttered 2400 years ago as we struggle agaist the tyranny of Islamic terrorism.
Maybe Islam forgot about Carthage!
A fiery retribution is in order for Islamofascists and their collaborators.
You are so correct. Muslim terrorists and their sympathizers are one cut below wild animals.
As much as I would like to believe it, I don't. I'm too cynical after reading much of Qu'ranic literature.
Maybe Islam forgot about Carthage!
We are there today. The level of morality in battle is chosen by the side willing to sink to the lowest level. The killing of innocent children in front of their parents has reached the lowest level, I submit that it is time to let loose the dogs of war and strike this evil until they cry out that Islam is wrong, and they are wrong.
The silence has been deafening....
Not everywhere. I gotta find that post! I THINK it's a muslim group in Seattle gonna party on 9/11 calling for more 9/11's. I'll try to find the post.
Jewish kids, Christian kids, Russian kids, kids and kids and no religion has a right of any kind to kill kids.
In the end, your movement appears to have only loyal and active supporters. Now you are in total control, for who would dare speak out against you? As Hitler said, 10 years before he finally rose to power, "The National Socialist Movement will in the future ruthlessly prevent if necessary by force all meetings or lectures that are likely to distract the minds of our fellow countrymen." In other words, all opposition is evil and we will protect you from it.
Sound familiar?
