I've been fighting this lie all day yesterday since the AP reported the original lie. Now it makes it into Newsmax?!?!

I thought we could trust Newsmax??

"Trust" NewsMax at your own peril.

I frankly don't read much of anything posted from them. It is a waste of time.

For crying out loud, they can play the CNN tape from the rally and find out that this was an AP lie. How utterly LAZY of them to accept this as a truthful account!

EARTH TO NEWSMAX...

Carl's a FReeper, isn't he? Jeez, guy.

BTW, did we ever find out who the reporter was, or is AP still refusing to say? And are they still ginning up articles without a byline?

Why would they run a retracted AP story. NewsMax is not very reliable.

The only thing I use NewsMax for is their links. They strike out more times than Drudge.

It's good for letting you know 'something's up' but you definitely need another source.

Yes, we ought to press the AP for the name of their reporter covering the rally. He/She WANTED to hear evil Republicans boo, so when the crowd uttered their surprised, "Oh!" this Democrat reporter heard boos. That shows what pre-determined bias does to news reporting, doesn't it? Thank God for video tape. Back in the old days, this "reporter" would have gotten away with this erroneous report.

Judging from the audio I heard, it wasn't even close. To my mind, if it was an innocent mistake, AP wouldn't've been so in-your-face and adamant about NOT revealing the identity of the author. AP has something to hide.

Go here to tell them what you think.

Don't give them your real email address or you will be SPAMMED forever.

It's hard to believe they are posting a lie that AP has already retracted. Pathetic!

I think Newsmax is trying to put AP in a precarious position by posting this article.

I think Newsmax is trying to put AP in a precarious position by posting this article.

There is nothing on the page to indicate they are posting the AP article as "documentation" of the AP lie. They posted it as a legit news item. Morons! Just as stupid as the MSM.

Me, too. They've changed. If I see Newsmax as a source, I skip past it. It is usually a rehash of the same old same old. In this case, they rehashed old news that was inaccurate and already proven so!

If you go to their contact page dont't send your message to Chuck Noe because I got this email back when I sent a response:

Chuck Noe is on vacation and no emails are being delivered to him due to the large volume received daily. He will again be able to receive e-mails starting Sept. 20 so please try again after that date.
