I understand completely where you are coming from. Children and adults dancing in the streets after the 9/11 attacks shooting guns in the air and celebrating like its Mardi Gras. Nothing made me want to end their lives more, and I hope our pre-emptive kill those fuckers first before they kill us policy sticks.

This movie came out before 9/11, so naturally, being from Hollywood, John Travolta's character "Gabriel" (head of a covert-ops team called "Black Cell" charged with defending American liberty at all costs) was portrayed as a bad guy. I thought he kicked ass.

On the Michael Medved show, and in his latest book, patrick j buchanan insists that Islamic Extremists ARE NOT a threat to this nation.
I cannot remember the thread now, but no doubt one of the Terror Matrix ones: It said to beware of Russia; it will appear as if they are being attacked just like the rest of us, but it is only temporary; that they may be the real enemy.
Probably will get flamed like I was once before, but I can't get it out of my head.
