Drudge still has the original AP story. There are also a few threads floating around about it.

Boston Globe still has the title AUDIENCE BOOS AS BUSH OFFERS BEST WISHES FOR CLINTON But the story has no mention.

The headline is then deliberately defamatory of the people of Wisconsin.

Depending on when you clicked on the link, the Globe had three different versions of the story all through the same link. The headline writer has to know that the headline is now false.

Those in Wisconsin should call the AP that originated the story and complain that the Boston paper is still purveying the lie that it originated by continuing the false headline.

Is there anyone here who is in Boston and who can call the Globe?

Scott Laidlaw and/or Deb Reichmann.

I'm betting one of these two sychophants got a little too pissed off after the Convention. They decided to do what they were taught in "Journalism" school - change society vs. report the facts. Bush had to be deflated a little (and besides they get a chance to score kudos with their Rat crowd friends..)

I was there at the rally. No such booing happened. It was news to most of us about Bill Clinton when the President announced it. It was very quiet. Then when Bush wished Clinton a speedy recovery, a very cordial cheer went out for him, kind've like when an injured football player from the other team gets up off the field after being hurt. I heard absolutely no boo's from my position. Trust me, It was the first time I cheered for a Clinton.

(Potential) Perp's email addr: Scott.Lindlaw@AP.Org

Hey Scott;
You name is tagged all over the I-Net as a potential reporter that lied (for food) about (*) Bush, Wisconsin, and audience "boo-ing" comments re: Wm. J. Clinton.

Can you tell me if you wrote this false article? You know, a google search of "Laidlaw + bias" yields 480 'hits'. Not quite in the league of Ron Fournier (8,670) or an Adam Clymer (2,060), but you are getting there.

Are you the author? If not, you may want to flush out the perp, if for nothing else to get the hounds off your trail coming next week.

(*) Suggest once in a while your refer to Bush as President Bush, unless such respect is a career ender at the AP.

It is pathedic to say that republicans booed when bush wished clinton well. continued lack of concern for real journalism, and continued support for leftwing activist journalism turns people off and actually hurts the liberal media... The democrats are never forced to fine-tune their message, since the vast liberal media never challenges anything they say... while conservatives and republicans are constantly forced to fine tune, and tweek their message to make it just right..But don't let common sense dictate your reporting.. it never has before

All in all let me just say it is disgusting that you guys would strait up report an outright LIE about events that never even took place.. huh wonder why FOXNEWS (a cable company, i dunno if you've ever even heard of it, probably not) beat the big sisters (cbs,abc,nbc) for ratings during the convention? thats the FIRST TIME it has EVER happened in the HISTORY of television..............could it be,,,,,, ohh umm i don't know, but you might want to check it out...........Your liberal is showing.
