Wow! Just mentioned by Judy Woodruff. Looking for original source.
Zogby has Bush Leading Kerry 46% to 44% in Convention Week Poll..within the margin of error.
Rasmussen shows President Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%. The same poll had Kerry with a 3 point lead after his convention.
Otherwise I heard commentators on FOX say most polls have Bush and Kerry virtually tied..but they didn't list them.
And you're correct, Kerry is tippsy. I'm thinking 3 or 4 flutes of Kristal at least.
1. Subtly tell those that voted for B/C in 2000 that they are dumb.
2. Look like kids yelling, 'I know you are but what am I'. Hey Johnny, Gore tried this in 2000 and it didn't work.
3. Completely opens up his own past.
OK...
Well, I don't believe poll statistics - even pro-Bush poll statistics from Slime Maggotzine - but if Bush wins by such a margin that the Demonrats can't blame Nader OR the electoral college, and can't claim that Bush "Stole" the election, they are going to go completely, stark, raving *nuts* on Nov. 3...
The media led them down this false path in 02 as well, and they didn't see it coming then either -- they totally lost it. They are so overprotected and coddled by the media that reality is especially harsh when it hits--it's no wonder these people go insane when they lose!
You know that dems are saying to each other, "Somebody remind me -- what exactly was so bad about Gephardt?"
Kerry's internal polling data probably explains the 11:30pm rally in Ohio immediately following President Bush's powerful speech. The Kerry Swift Boat is taking in water is how I would best describe it.
They were hoping or even wishing for no bounce at all.
On the Iowa Electronic Market, Bush shares are averaging $0.55/share...Kerry about $0.45-6
Sometimes I wonder if the party establishments push Senators as Presidential candidates so as not to "waste" good candidates against strong opponents. The track record of Senator/nominees has been so abysmal I can't see why they have the party establishment backing.
55% say Bush will win, not 55% will vote for Bush, although admittedly the 2 are not unrelated,
Great Job! Now tell me if I will live a long happy life.
This election is looking great. Dubya might have the power to make sweeping change to the Right if he wins by a large enough margin. A higher margin helps all Republican candidates who are not at the top of the ticket. And Dubya has a lot of money. Dubya will have time and money to help Republican Senate candidates. And those Senators will be in debt to Dubya when legislation needs to be passed.
What strikes me about this campaign is the timing. Dubya got a convention the week after the Olympics which filled many Americans with patriotic pride. The convention was amazing, and now America gets a 3 day weekend to spend with family and discuss the news of the day. Dubya plans to build on the convention. 8 million dollars on ads just for next week. Next week will be the anniversary of 9-11.
That is good timing. It takes skill and forethought to plan that out. It takes strategery to put together a convention like that. They did such a good job that it looked easy. They pushed all the right buttons. Kerry got so punch drunk and maybe booze drunk our convention lured him into thinking it was a good idea to do an unscheduled unplanned pajama pity party bitch session on live television. It was so pathetic the media dropped it right away.
When there's no clear, strong successor to George W Bush
What makes you think Dubya and his staff haven't thought about his successor? I bet they have been researching that factor, measuring, and laying the groundwork for 2008 since shortly after the day Cheney became the VP candidate.
Freedom is not America's gift to the world, it is the Almighty God's gift to every man and woman in this world.
Plus we got the Lord on our side. Which is nice.
It's over.
Bush is not Dean.
If Bush carries NY and CA, Campaign Kerry can start whistling past the graveyard! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

I watched JFK's speech.
It was embarrisingly bad.
He tried to be off the cuff by referring to the town's two high school football teams, which are rivals.
Thing is, he had to read the names off his notes.
Actually, he read most of his speech off his notes.
In the famous words of Dallas' sports talk show host Randy Galloway - which he repeats over and over in a loud slow southern drawl after a month into the Rangers' season -
ITS OVER, ITS OVER.
The Dems still have their old trusty bag of tricks known as VOTER FRAUD to win this election. I won't sleep peacefully until Nov. 3!
I worry about all of the touchscreen voting that will be going on this year, no recount is possible.
