Woodruff reporting W just placed a call from Air Force One to Bill Clinton in the hospital, to wish him well. Classy move.

This election will prove all pundits, and most pollsters wrong.

Iraq has been a major element for the War on Terror. Wouldn't the numbers be similar? I'm not an expert but here's why I think those numbers differ. I would guess that a portion of those who think the WOT is going well are unhappy with the way we've dealt with those hot spots like Fallujah and Najaf. They're thinking we've been too accommodating and should drop a daisy cutter on the bastards.
I would tend to agree but if asked by a pollster, I wouldn't express my unhappiness with the handling of Iraq.

Poor guy. DUers are seeing their guy go down in flames and they can't put it out. It will have to burn itself out.

If anything, I'm pumped to work even harder. Here in Los Angeles County, word at my local Bush-Cheney/GOP HQ is that if the President can get 40% of the county-wide vote, he carries the state. So I'll dial undecideds till my fingers bleed, if necessary, to do my part. Between an energized Republican effort and a depressed Dem campaign, who knows? Maybe we'll pull of a miracle and deliver the state to our great President.Amen brother!

Toesucker said last night on Fox that if Rassmussen is showing Bush with a 4 point lead, because of the rolling average, it was more like a 6-8 point lead that will emerge by tomorrow...and probably double digit by Sunday. Time has scooped them.

In all seriousnes, Hillary must be looking at this as a double red-letter day. She gets reflected sympathy from Bill's illness, and her road to the 2008 nomination is now wide open.

These Republicans have not made a permanent dent in Kerry's armor. The only person who can do that is John Kerry. And he's doing a whale of a job.

Here's a hoot from DU-- they're counting on UNLIKELY VOTERS!---------

23. Ah.. These polls don't count the unlikely voters..
which ARE the NEW voters this time around. I'm not
concerned. Polls are overdone this year.. Even tho people
suffered from poll fatigue last time, the media thinks it's
imperative to have new one, every four freakin' hours. They
are NOT counting the Kerry people, which are the newest
voters... they never show up on those lists.

Judy Woodruff caught off camera saying she didn't know what poll Cahill was talking about when she said one poll showed Bush & Kerry even.
Heehee.
