Rush Limbaugh's Surprising New Gal Pal

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh must be feeling better after his separation in June from his third wife, Marta. He has a new girlfriend--and it's a surprising coupling that lends credence to the idea that opposites attract. She's none other than CNN anchor Daryn Kagan, reports Washington Post "Reliable Source" columnist Richard Leiby.

Curses, why a CNN chick of all people in the glorious world. I feel betrayed by the romantic louse, Limbaugh, I and love his show and have been an avid listener for 10 years.

A better question may be why Kagan is interested in Limbaugh. I'm sure it has nothing to do with money.

I wish I knew too! I liked Marta. She seemed to have been such a strong anchor in the whirlwind of Rush's very active lifestyle.

He does appear to be very liberated though and a heck of lot happier and less constrained on his highly stimulating talk show. I quess he cut the anchor off and is running free.

I'm ticked though, a CNN chickie-babe. I don't think it is a trustworthy move on his part and he better start thinking with his brain not his nether region, IMHO.

Ditto! Personally I am disgusted with Rush. How could he do this? I think many of us have less respect for Mary Matalin after she got involved with James Carville. I know I feel less respect now for Rush than I did before.

I agree. I could never share my life with someone whose brain and thinking process I could not respect. Intimacy is on all levels - or it should be. Very poor choice. Even if she were a closet conservative, which I highly doubt, she works for biased, liberal CNN.

Dara Kagan is far from beautiful. Her eyes are slits, her nose is way too long and her mouth has a permanent sneer. The only thing she's got going for her is a slim body.

It is like dating out side you religion. If he falls in love, he will end up defending her. I know when he married Martha, Rush ended up softening his positions on the radio.
