What do people mean "timing is suspicious". That Pres. clinton somehow , to attract attention away from Republican Convention, is staging a quadruple bypass surgury? --- Not exactly a small operation, quadruple bypass... are they actually performing the procedure or is Clinton just sittin in the O.R. with the doctors smoking a cigar with a bunch of hoochie mamas? --- what are you guys thinking?

Had they wanted to take the light off the Republican convention they 'could' have. Easily. Kisd of seems like they didn't want to. Yet it does come out just when Kerry is struggling to make a come back.
Just my opinion but people ought to be glad that they didn't take advantage of the situation and over shadow the RNC.

I can't believe that intelligent people on FR such as yourself would believe that any of us actually thought that Pres Clinton would time this on purpose.

The timing of Clinton's surgery is as suspicious as the timing of the release of the first Swiftboat Vets ad, the capture of Saddam, Bush's Thanksgiving dinner in Baghdad with the troops, Bush's address to the UN in 2002, the vote for authorization of force that same year, the selection of New York for the Republican Convention...why that's all we ever heard about.
Apparently the timing of any newsworthy political event is suspicious anymore. We just want to get ahead of the curve here.
