He is young to have all these health problems. I don't think any negative comments are appropriate at this time.

I turn 55 today and had a very serious heart attack on aug 9th this year. Had triple by-pass surgery aug 16th.

Of course, I did not take care of myself, so i chalk it up to being my fault.

TV here said he was supposed to show off his prize pig, Hillary, at the state fair today.

If i had to be seen in public with hillary, i would probably have a heart attack too, or at least fake one.

"He is young to have all these health problems"

He's had a weight problem off and on over the years and also drank pretty heavily at all those WH functions. In addition, there's the coke nose. Coke is not good for your heart. He has been known as a lot of things, but an athlete or fitness freak has never been one of them.

Agreed. If we demand respect for conservatives when they have health problems, we should do the same for ourselves even when it's someone we don't particularly like.

Actually no. If you have a bad combo of genes and (eating) lifestyle it's easy to be looking at a bypass in your 40s.

The last survey I saw gave an average age of 61 for bypass patients. Of course you know how studies can be but I've known a LOT of guys who had heart attacks in their late 40's, early 50's.

You're quite right about negative comments. Those about Reagan were way out of line, I'm not going that direction. I'll pray not only for a full recovery but also that the experience might open him to allowing God to improve his spirit.

I've seen serious stuff like this make people think and it's often permanent (though not always), it might be an opportunity for him to start reading that book he liked to carry around on Sunday.

We can pray that's the case.

I agree. Attention Fox News: I was offended at one of your Democratic guests who stated, "Talking about hearts, some people doubt that the Republican Party even has one." (Words to that effect. And the man had been brought on to discuss Bill Clinton's condition.)

Actually he's at the right age for a heart attack.

Agree 100 percent. Everything has its place and time. Now is the time to pray for Clinton's health.
