Bill Clinton rushed to Columbia Hostpital in NY for quadruple bypass surgery.
After all, we are holier than them....
For medical people on this thread, could you please explain why no hints of possible heart disease showed up in his physicals during his presidency?
I find it odd that suddenly, one could need quadruple bypass surgery. Wouldn't this have been coming on for some time?
I wish him well. Nobody deserves that. Even him.

Other than that thought, I hope he comes out ok, much as I dislike the guy, I don't wish ill will on him.
Fox just did a report on it. Haven't seen anything on CNN or MSNBC yet.
While I'm no fan of Bill Clinton, the politician, I'll keep Bill Clinton the human in my prayers.
I hope he recovers fully for no other reason than he will continue to be a burden to Hillary.

Blockages are one thing - Lesions are a whole nuther matter... I'm amazed he hasn't exhibited heart problems before...
But, with the state of cardiac care today (I spent years designing cardiac cath, stress, holter, and telemetry devices) he should pull through ok and go on to live a long and fruitful life - unlike many who have been associated with him...
He has a heart? Must be visiting OZ.
I think the story is a cover for the real reason for his hospitalization...a gerbil extraction!
Maybe he'll have an epiphany?
He'll be on a heart bypass machine -- that's when many people have their "near-death experiences".
I question the timing.
Imagine Clinton after his surgery. He'll be biting his lip and milking it for years.
Jjennings, Rather and Brokaw will be covering this ad nauseam.
This procedure is highly successful even for commoners, and goodness knows he'll be getting the best of care.
I predict a full recovery.
