"You're absolutely right. She is a terrible example of a "married" woman and to little girls and young women, and other married women too. I don't want to get slammed for this, but staying with a cheating, lying man is not a good example.

Yes, everyone deserves a second chance. My husband screwed up pretty bad but we had counseling and stayed together and our marriage is good now. HOWEVER . . . IF he would ever even think of doing it again . . . I'd be gone with the kids.
"

Hmm. I think you're incorrect. Jesus said that we should forgive seventy times seven times. Whatever can be said of the Clintons, the fact that they remain husband and wife is not something that should be criticized. In this world where 50% of all marriages end in divorce, I think we should congratulate those who keep their marriages.

Apparently Hillary forgave Bill Clinton and remains married to him. Seems like the right thing to do to me.

And when you meet Him, I'm sure you'll be pretty surprised, too.

"If Clinton is seen on the campaign trail..any time in the remaining two months of the campaign....people are going to wonder."

Yep. And WE'LL be here to remind them. But now that I think of it, Bill Clinton hasn't been much in evidence since the Democrat national convention. He didn't look bad then, though tired, and in contrast to the walking-dead delegates he was one of the most energetic speakers....so maybe it was just the company that he was keeping that made him look downright lively at the time.

Sorry I'm not a perfect Christian. Did you also pray for Tim McVeigh? If so than you're perfect. Congrats.

Now if only you could be a little more tolerant of those who aren't as perfect as yourself..............

Sorry, Spunks, I should have addressed that to "all".

It was a serious medical question. My sister was on coumadin and it interacted with her cancer treatments and caused her to die one month after cancer diagnosis.

Now, IF Clinton has to use coumadin after his surgery, will he also be able to continue his cocaine use? (that is, assuming he still does use it).

No. I have never touched the stuff in my life. I don't even know what it looks like.

My drug of choice is Killian's Red. (That's beer, for anyone who doesn't know).

I watched Hillary's words to the press. Lord love a duck, I knew she was a very cold woman, but I thought she was more politically savvy. Instead of acting concerned for her husband, she let the loathing for Bill show on her face.

She said he went to the ER, not WE. And then she says he spent the night at home. So, the next morning, he is called back for more tests, probably an angiogram. And she leaves for the Fair. And she is still not at the hospital with her husband. Now, I ask you, how many wives would act like Hillary.

The cable news are mentioning it frequently, but are covering their real thoughts by saying that it could not be very serious, as she is not with him. Ha!

During his speech at the DNC. He seemed to have a lot of swelling under his eyes, in his face and his hands were shaking. Did anyone else note it?

I think what the media has released is consistent. He felt like he was having an MI went to the hospital, they did an ECG and enzymes and everything looked fine. He had another episode and they probably did an angio. After review they found blockages and put him on the schedule. No conspiracy here. He may have another episode, and that is why he is under observation.

My prayers for the health and well being of our former President and his family.

I wish Clinton the best in health. I oppose him like a tiger on issues, but don't pray for his death. I am not like the ghouls that cheered Reagan's slow and steady demise. I hope you all aren't either.

I haven't looked at any of the responses on this thread yet. I hope that there are no cheers at his misfortune. You know the Media Wing of the DNC will be cruising this thread, looking for combustible remarks to exploit. Don't give them any ammo.

Remember, FR is NOT a private club -- it's open to the public. Don't be naive like "saracat," that DU whiner who wanted to find out if she could sue Opinion Journal's James Taranto after he linked and reprinted her "horrible experience" trying to sign young Democrats up for the Kerry camp.

We're better than that. We're smarter than that...I think. I hope.

There are, but not many. Wishing ill on Clinton does not become anyone.

I did not wish him ill, I refused to wish him well. I am allowed that. (Actually, my freedom of speech allows me to say the other, too. My 5th grade teacher taught that one's freedom ends where another 's nose begins. Feelings are not noses.)

I am unmoved by his situation. I will not allow sentimentality to allow my memory be erased.

Oh, give it up, you pretentious little twit.

No one's paying attention to you.
