There are, but not many. Wishing ill on Clinton does not become anyone.

How arrogant. Good for YOU if you want to shed tears for Clinton and his family. To suggest, though, that those of us who DON'T somehow deserve to have no one "wish [us] well" when WE'RE sick, or to suggest that we're morally deficient is over the line.

now, now. Pot calling the kettle black, aren't you? That said, those who want to pray for Clinton are free to do so. Those who (including myself) want to wish him well are free to do so. Those who wish to do otherwise are free to do so. This is FREE Republic, isn't it? As long as we have "NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts". Telling a fellow FReeper he is not a human being kinda falls under a personal attack in my book so perhaps you should look unto yourself.
Now me? The Russian children are still at the top of my prayer list. This Clinton thing of how we should behave is irrelevant right now.

You're absolutely right. She is a terrible example of a "married" woman and to little girls and young women, and other married women too. I don't want to get slammed for this, but staying with a cheating, lying man is not a good example.
Yes, everyone deserves a second chance. My husband screwed up pretty bad but we had counseling and stayed together and our marriage is good now. HOWEVER . . . IF he would ever even think of doing it again . . . I'd be gone with the kids.
Her example is showing that it's OK to stay with someone like that, even tho he REPEATEDLY breaks his vows. That is not a marriage.

So it seems to me that is reason to pray all the harder. It's these close brushes with mortality that can inspire the epiphanies that ambulate our spiritual nature. Perspectives change, life takes on additional hues. What was valued before becomes less important, and that which haughtiness overshadowed is suddenly key.
Pray hard enough, and he might walk out of the hospital a Republican ;)
Agree. In fact I remember Bill telling a reporter a few weeks ago that he basically had a big announcement coming shortley...hmm.
I hope Clinton does not die, but I did have a macabre thought -- Does the Clinton Lie-brary have his final resting place ready to go? Or is he going to be buried someplace else -- like say -- Arlington? (Heaven forbid!!) And another evil thought -- Hitlery must be licking her chops over this -- a widow gets much more respect than a divorcee.
Just because I haven't posted very long doesn't mean I haven't been a Freeper. I have been on this board for over 3 years. But until today I have not been ashamed to be here. I don't think I have ever seen so much hatred here before.
RE: Job numbers--144,000 new jobs added in August, and another 60,000 from July, which weren't counted (I don't get it but hey, it means 200,000+ new jobs in the last two months!)
