" . . . because no way do I believe 'they' would have stayed silent during our convention."

But they didn't waste any time crashing and bashing through at midnite, giving the MSM something to run other than the RNC after-reports, and especially President Bush's speech.

They why release news to the press at 12:00 the day after the RNC convention?

Because Clinton IS in the hospital and it IS newsworthy when a former President goes into the hospital for heart surgery. And he's going to have the surgery this week.

This news cuts both ways for the Democrats. It shows why it's important for Kerry to release his medical records, which he hasn't done. Clinton never released his and looked healthy. Yet, according to some reports, he had a heart attack. He and Kerry are about the same age. And the featherweight, John Edwards could be just one heartbeat away from the presidency.

If they REALLY wanted to play politics, they would have publicized his going to the hospital last night.

Well, now. What you sow, so shall you also reap. I think I read that in a book once.

True....and the same can be said for Clinton.

Think of the people they had killed off. Think of Rangers who died in Somolia because he would not approve air or armor support to a mission...because he was worried about how it would look politically.

[Bill] Clinton to have quadruple bypass surgery.....

If and when they find his heart while in there they need to look around for a conscience.

I know what happened.

Clinton heard what a good job Rudy did with his convention address the other night and realized that the Hildebeast was never going to be President. Billy Jeff then figured out that he'd have to put up with her coming home in a pissy mood at 5:30 p.m for the rest of his life.

Ergo, chest pains...

CNN takes every opportunity to put Kerry in the spotlight.

Same here.
I'm squeamish about getting to the ugly, but if he dies, so many in his office will be out of work. I try to think along those lines.

It doesn't sound like your every day walk in the park operation. Glad you recovered.

I just hope that this is a life changing experience for Clinton. It would help him when he has to answer God about his veto of the "partial birth abortion ban".

~~~~~Give us a break- he was watching the Convention and his cocaine use is catching up with him.~~~~
"No, I won't give you a break.
We have some responsibility not to act like the asshats on DU who wish George W. Bush dead. I'm not saying that we should forget that Clinton was a bad President. I am saying that we shouldn't forget that he was President.
In other words, he could be a boob and a sonofabitch from time to time. But he wasn't Hitler. Let's try to remember that.
And deserving of our prayers."
good post Chris,thank you.
I call it "respecting the office of the Presidency" to my children.
"Yep. Dems will blame President Bush for sure."
Betcha they will. Though it would be GREAT if Bill Clainton said he started getting chest pains while laughing hysterically at Bush's Arnie joke...OR if says he got upset during Kerry's rant.
Most likely, if the tinfoil hat crowd try making another anti-Bush pseudo-issue out of it, Clinton may be forced to say he wasn't even WATCHING the RNC or something like that, just to make them sound less psychotic.
All this talk about Hill putting politics above her "family", her "husband". Has everyone forgotten what she put up with from this guy, often on national tv? My only question is, why is she still with him at all? She's a disgrace to have stayed married to this philanderer.
It scrambled my brain for a while- sometimes the pump does that to you. I was a bit addled for about six months. I was kept pretty comfortable- but I got tired of laying around the house. After I had been home from the hospital for a few weeks, I took the motorcycle for a short spin. Bad idea, but I felt much better afterwards. :-)
