wish you well on your upcoming surgery. I just had a pre-cancerous section of colon removed last week. Ain't modern medicine wonderful?
Take care

That's one way to check out the young nurses without arousing too much attention ;-)

I have no idea.
Hillary just said he went for tests yesterday and everything came back okay and he was home yesterday "and they talked all day long" (making sure we know they were in the same state as he went for tests) then things changed, then he went to the hospital and "she just found out and will be forgiven for declining the invite to the fair" (though at 1:30 she was still at the fund-raiser where she made the announcement).

This doesn't pass the smell test.

If it is true, I pray for the family and loved ones like everyone else - however, they've never done anything in their lives that didn't involve manipulation and exploitation for their own benefit.

"Suspicious timing..."

Looks like the RNC follow-up reporting was trash-canned.

Clinton helping to keep the Bush Bounce down? I think that is an honest question, considering the extent the dems will go to remain in contention.

Even Kerry's midnight fiasco is getting more airtime on C-Span and MSNBC than the RNC after-report. Bahstids!

all joking aside....I don't see them doing something that pathetic for political gain.

Besides....Doctors don't like lawyers.....so it would cost way too much.

I don't think any negative comments are appropriate at this time.

Agreed.

I just saw Kerry start a stump speech by mentioning Clinton and his heart problem....then he went directly into trashing the GOP convention. CNN was showing him live on the campaign trail.

Boy....that's not the best transition for a speech.

Kerry should get some new communications folks. It just looked bad.

You guessed wrong.
She had a presser from that very campaign fundie - a good 1-1/2 hours from the initial reports that he was in the hospital.
Guess she forgot her cell phone.
Wonder who called the press to do a live feed from it?

"Must have been the culmination of three days of RNC starting with McCain."

Roger Hedgecock (sitting in for Rush) just said that Clinton did have an apparant heart attack "just after the president's speech"

So was Preaident Bush's speech that good....or was Kerry's childish attempt to scream loudest and get all the attention of the adults in the room that bad?

My friend noticed that her husband quit snoring. She got him to the doctor and they did the tests and put him on a emergency list for next available operating room. That has been about fifteen years ago. He's still doing well. She saved his life by noticing something had changed.

"Wow. Is he doing okay?"

He is doing great. This was last Thanksgiving.

My husband had to have an Aortic Valve and 3 bypasses done back in 1993. He never had a heart attack but tests showed he had a leaky valve and blockages. Since he had an artificial valve he had to be on blood thinner (Coumadin) for the rest of his life. That is a catch 22. If blood to thick it could build up on his valve and break off and cause a stroke. If too thin he could have a bleed through. Which is what happened to him almost 3 years ago. He had a bleed in the brain and was in the rehab for a month. Paralyzed on his left side, but he finally came out of it pretty well. It slowed him down alot. He has to get his blood (pro-time) checked every two weeks to make sure the consistency is in the right range.
