Bill Clinton rushed to Columbia Hostpital in NY for quadruple bypass surgery.

Oh come on, he didn't die. Let us have a little fun mocking him. Dave Letterman mocks himself all the time over this.

Anyhow, I'll say a prayer for him that the operation goes well, but don't expect everyone to forgo Big Mac jokes all together.

I'd totally agree with you if he had died, or was dying. But everyone I know who's had stuff like this makes fun of it all the time.

My son just called and said Bill Clinton has lesions on the arteries leading to his heart.

I pray he comes out of this healed and lives a long time!

Also, we need to be gracious to him, respecting the office he held. And as bad as we think of him.................let's just not speak it at this time.

My 1st thought was..I want to see the scar after the surgery. How do we know this isn't a trick to gain sympathy for him and the democrats or take attention away from Bush and Kerry.

At one point yesterday, one of the CNN anchors casually mentioned that there might be some other news which would disrupt the convention coverage. At the time, I took this to be Hurricane Frances, but now...?

Fox is reporting that he already had an angioplasty, and that the Kerry campaign knew about it. Could it be that Clinton has enough class to keep this info private until after the GOP convention?

Also, who thinks that Kerry would have had that level of class, if I'm right?

Frankly, I'm starting to miss Slick Willy. It's becoming obvious that there are poorer candidates out there!
