Calif. Delegates gave disruptors their passes?? [vanity]
EA

Posted on 09/03/2004 7:02:31 AM PDT by EggsAckley

I just heard Lee and Mel on KSFO state that two California delegates were the ones who allowed the Code Pink protestors who attempted to disrupt the President's speech last night. Apparently the two protestors were seated with the California delegation.

One of the protestors was Medea Benjamin, infamous leader of Code Pink. Lee and Mel just mentioned that perhaps former CA governor Pete Wilson was one of the delegates who gave his convention pass to the protestors.

I've been searching FR for any articles about the disruption last night, but have found nothing.

I humbly submit for your consideration that any thread involving liberal protesters include this graphic and linked mp3. Click on the loveable little tyke to hear his opinion.

Just paste the following into your post, replacing parenthesis with "less than" or "greater than" (shift+"," or shift+"." Had to do that to get it to display):

I told my husband this morning: "I wouldn't be surprised if it was the California delegation who let those creeps in there." Sheeeeesh.

Wrong.

EVERY media outlet, and EVERY national writer, and EVERY national reporter, and EVERY TV news anchor, producer, writer, and cameraman -- and EVERY Washington politician, and EVERY Congressional staffer, and EVERY federal manager of EVERY Federal program --- STARTS off EVRY day with the front page of the NY Times.

The national news IS the NY Times.

(Plus Free Republic.)

The NY Times found it fitting to put a picture of it on page A1. Above the fold.

That is ok. Less room for "news" to fit.

Old media is becoming so irrelevant it's getting funny. Our local newspaper is frantically calling everyone in the county to try and get subscribers.

BTW I start the day with google, I have a series of search links preloaded, then I go to my RSS reader, then Free Republic. I do miss the newspaper, I have nothing to wrap fish bones in.

I missed the show this AM, otherwise I'd at least corroborate the hearsay.

Sounds like somebody got their wires crossed on a prior account of the disruption, which stated that Wilson offered the woman his seat after she was already in the arena (she'd apparently been whining about sore feet). She obviously had already acquired her pass.

I like 'em both but I listen sparingly to both of late, to dang much stuff going on at once..

The Babe comes to mind as well.

David is good about plugging the site.

I don't tune Suss in much at night, but try and catch Laura Ingraham if I can. I miss the other fella before Suss.. the reasonable dude, Bryan Wilson
