A51, as to your earlier question, a FOIA request would probably be the most expeditious route todetermine the status of a Navy or DOD IG investigation; however, I doubt anything would be released as long as the investigation was open. Even afterwards, I'd imagine it would be heavily redacted without a signed SF180 (which it's obvioous by now, Kerry will not sign).
Someone who is more familiar with the Navy or Defense Dep't. IG functions may have more (or better) info.
