At the beginning of his speech when Bush honored and thanked Cheney, Cheney looked like he could've cried. I just thought of two warriors covering each others' backs. It was touching.

I just figured out Kerry's internals.
Don't you see? He's trying to jazz up the base! His people are telling him that the base voters are planning on staying home or voting for Nader. While Bush is able to poach for independents, Kerry has to shore up his base!
Yeah, the election is Kerry's to lose, all right.
