McAuliffe is on CNN re fighting Vietnam.
Greenfield asks him-
Ahh.. do you think it's wise, minutes after this speech, for Kerry to come out and the first thing he does is slam Cheney's draft deferments ???

Verrrrrry Funny.
Hey folks..just keep in mind..some may say something about how many people watched tonight.
Buy nothing into it. There were two first week college football games on. I know it is sad that people would watch that instead...but there are many sports fans who are voting for Bush...and did not need a speech to know how great he is.
So just keep that in mind.

Meanwhile, Chrissy and panel are sitting around praising Brokaw.

No...they were joining him on stage...I just never saw a shot of that during a speech. Thought it was unusual at first.

Dang, I'm disappointed. I was sure Bush was going to bring out Osama for all to see. I heard it on DU, Airliners.net, and from top Democrats so it must be true.
Nah, the VRWC has that scheduled for the last debate. W has Osama trotted out at the end on a leash and dog collar. SSHHHHHH!

The script was written before the speech.
I think he said it.

There's a huge Sell Order for Kerry Stock at Tradesports.com; 1000 shares at 43.0. But he cannot fill it. Bush is at 59.2
I'm holding a large order for Bush to win with 300 electoral votes..looking forward to collecting!

"Here two buildings fell. Here a nation rose."
Wouldn't be surprised if Peggy Noonan wrote that.
and, may God continue to bless and watch over our godly President, GEORGE W. BUSH!!!

They can only do soo much. A lot of the lax enforcement has been at the state legislature level. And the cities that refuse to report illigal aliens to the INS.
99.9% of where the illegals are the worst, are RAT controlled. And it would take the RATS in D.C. going along with immigration reforms for it to actually happen.
We both know that is NOT going to happen because the RATS see illegals as the next wave of RAT voters.
Blaming Bush and the GOP for the liiegal alien problem is like blaming the President for not filling judicial vacancies fast enough.

I usually can't stand to listen to Bush, but the last 10 minutes of the speech was very powerful. If anybody was hoping he was going to bomb this and hand the election to Kerry, it didn't happen. That's a DUer who's about to get the DU equivalent of a ZOT!
