I remember reading that what annoyed Bush more than anything else the Dems said in 2003-2004 was that we were going alone, that we had no allies. I hope Bush keeps hammering Kerry for dissing the allies in the debates too.
Easy: the pass should have your name and your hometown on it -- that's easy. The delegates should have been known. Match that up with official photo ID - driver license. Check 'em at the door. This is what they do at the airport. Knowing that this place is a target, you gotta do something...
Don.
We've been here long enough to survive a few flames. But after the protestors the crowd lost all of its passion also.
Yes indeed.
As I said farther up, I think this was the plan. Keep Brokaw and company from being able to tear the speech apart.
Smile, wonder why?
Proud to be of Italian and Polish Heritage
Yeah well I'm of French and German heritage. Besides severe internal conflicts I have nothing but shame. Luckily, I'm simply an American now.
i go to school at cal.
i think i'll be smiling smuggly, tomorrow... :) (go bears!)
I just saw a babes for bush T-shirt!
Oh, you would complain if it were only 15 minutes....SHEESH.
Maybe it's a cliche, but this is the Best, most meaningful speech I've heard from President Bush.
It sits right up there -- maybe higher -- with his speech on Sept. 19, 2001.
I am getting goosebumps. Even his speech inflection is good, although he messed up the word diluted, or something like that.
Evidently not watching, they got it back!
"FREEDOM IS ON THE MARCH!!!"
Freedom is on the march!
Found it!

That's questioning Kerry's patriotism don't you know.
/sarcasm
He is in his stride now. Keep hammering at Kerry. I am really pissed off that the disruptors got in there 2wice. It took Bush's rythem away - he could not see why they were chanting 4 more years to shut up the disruptors.
Folks we are going into OVERTIME!!! =)
That's exactly the idea. No commentary - "Goodnight, here's your local news."
Freedom is the greatest fear of terrorists.
