Geeeeeez, Bush hasn't used the word VIETNAM ONCE! The word Vietnam is nowhere in the speech. He is about half way through it now.
Refreshing isn't it? :-)

For those of you who think he is going into too much detail on economic/social issues, just think. Lurch is coming on right at midnight and, if you take a look at his remarks you will see that he is very defensive about his military exploits and spends some time lashing out at Bush and Cheney for not serving like he did. Compared to Bush, Lurch will look preening and self-concerned. Kerry defends his reputation, Bush cares about the people of the country.

To: OXENinFLA
Red meat for the conservatives portion of the speech.
To: Diverdogz
Some of this begs the question....why hasn't he done some of this already? Oh, I think he was dilly dallying with a little issue called THE WAR ON TERROR
And to think he's already started to address most of it.
Ah, just said appoint judges who don't insert personal opinion over the law.
To: Happygal
Protect the unborn AND heterosexual marriage AND Constitutional JUDGES! WOW
To: Fedora
