Thank you very much!!
What seems to have been missed regarding Cheney's speech last night (overshadowed as it was by Zell Miller), is that he subtly made tort reform an issue, and I think we'll see him wrap this issue around Edwards' neck.
Oh........thanks!
Tommy Franks @ 8:35 pm ET.
Got it!
From our seats at home many of us have declared this the best convention we've ever witnessed.
(We also noted as the demcon went on that it was beyond a doubt the LAMEST convention, so we've witnessed the two extremes, IMO)
Tommy Franks is speaking tonight. Definitely 100 percent.
Dennis Prager is one of the best talk show hosts.
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! If Chris would be honest enough to read his own transcript of that exchange with Michelle Malkin, he'd see that it was HE -- Chris Matthews -- who raised the possibility of Kerry "shooting himself." Michelle simply reiterated the charge of the Swifties that one of Kerry's Purple Hearts was the result of a self-inflicted wound. And, whattayaknow...it's turned out that his first PH was indeed the result of a self-inflicted wound....Chris was wrong. Michelle was correct, but Chris continues to lie about that exchange.
Couldn't you just kiss that sweet little face?
Makes the grandmommie part of me, ache to hold him!
Jonah Goldberg just said on CNN that Zell "crossed the line" a couple times. Judy asked where and he said though Miller claimed he wasn't questioning Kerry's patriotism, it came off that way.
Well boo hoo, is all I have to say. If the shoe fits and all that.
The record is the record. If it reflects poorly on Kerry's esteem of this country it's not Zell Miller's or the Republicans' fault.
I was invited to a party on Wilshire Blvd. in enemy territory with a couple hundred GOP campaign workers. It should be fun, but I will miss being here.
(Tip of the hat to Officer Vic)
Although I check into NRO regularly, I always remember what Ann Coulter called them. She was right!
She used Arnold's word!
Maureen Dowd calling the Swifties "liars"....She wouldn't know the truth if it hit her across her rather ample posterior.
and in the process make themselves look like even bigger irrelavant fools than they already have before the watching world.
My hubbie does the best Susan Esterich imitation..you'd die laughing. When FOX gets irritating (including Mara, Juan, and sometimes Mort) he kick into "Susan" and I miss the annoying stuff.
We do watch CSPAN alot too.
I can't wait for W tonight!
I saw on CSPAN a short while ago that Franks is listed to speak at 8:35 ET.
Incidentally, Shep Smith's panties have been in a wad over the "attacks" last night. Claimed "3 Republicans", then corrected to "Two Republicans and one Democrat" engaged in these awful "attacks".
Shep thinks the Republicans are being too mean--he's been a snit for days. He's getting on my last nerve.
So I mosey over to MSNBC to see what's going on and I'm in time to see Joe Scarborough not only thanking Wesley Clark for appearing on his show, he's heaping praises upon him and saying how his "important voice" added so much to the debate.
It just goes to show that Fox's schtick is just that. All the "Fair and Balanced" nonsense was an act. It lasted only as long as they needed to expand their viewership.
W is so normal and genuine, it brings tears to my eyes.
