Does Kerry have a self-destruct streak?
He would do better if he would just drop the whole Vietnam platform.
He will never change my mind on what he did when he came back from Vietnam.
He spoke of Kerry's anti-war sentiment back in 71 and made is disliking very clear. He's not attacking Kerry though. He did it in a very mature way. The man just oozes intellect.

I can only hope...they still don't get it...it wasn't an issue four years ago and it isn't one now. It's Kerry who's trapped in the past. I can remember the exact moment when in 1996, Clinton put Dole away for good - it was the "bridge to the future" comment at a debate in response to Dole's "bridge to the past" comment which he must have thought was a winner - I knew instantly it was over for Dole. Look forward not back...Kerry is more and more beginning to resemble Principal Skinner.
