BAD idea. Stay away from the medals, and focus on the Testimony, Cambodia, and Paris.
The Navy is looking at the medals, not the Bush administration. The Navy can look into whatever they want, especially if it involves problems with Naval records that may or may not have been intentionally at issue.
Your comment is well placed, BUT the issue of Kerry's credibility is important. The Navy also has a stake in this as well -- their image is on the table as well.
While I agree that the focus should be MAINLY on the treason that Kerry committed after Nam, his credibility and the credibility of the medal process is also of major issue.
Agreed!
VERY BAD IDEA!!!!
The spin you will hear is obvious and it makes Bush suffer for it. Hell, he gets blamed for hurricanes. You can imagine how this little investigation will be percieved.
If its a real idea, they should drop it like a hot tater.
I agree
DITTO !!
Every time I say something like that I get flamed like a drag queen walking down Lombard...
Good to see I'm not alone.
Not if there's somthing that happend in '86.
Follow the path as it unfolds. If he committed fraud in writing up his medals, it will be one more nail.
The anti war and a VVAW stuff is coming out a little at a time.
